242e a week in a Dublin back yard
You should win a prize for finding that! 🤣🤣
Leeds 10 wouldn't be a great area anyway, but add a body in the garden!!
Not great........
I thought 7 and 8 were creepy enough!.
Ooh it's gone!. Must have blown away 🙄
Are there no doors of any kind to the utility room? You'd be sitting down watching some TV with the washing machine spinning away like mad, fully viewable and hearing it from the sofa. Bit mad. As others have said, the layout doesn't seem great. Lots of wide open spaces but it absolutely lacks any cosiness.
It has a sliding door to the utility. You can see it in pic 5.
Agree with your post 100% though. It’s so cold and uninviting. I could never see the attraction with houses like that. Imagine trying to keep it clean!
Yeah the layout is very poor. There is a bathroom right opposite the front door so any visitors could be greated by someone coming out after using the toilet which is never good! As you said utility ( which isnt normally a tidy space in most houses) is in full view. They seem to have an awkward sitting room area which is part of the hall really and anyone would struggle to make that cosy. Kitchen looks poor to work in. At least 1 of the upstairs bedrooms seem very small - it looks ok for a small child and thats it. You wouldnt even be able to fit a double bed in it. I know with some colourful furniture, rugs etc the house could look a little warmer - the owners seems to have done everything cold shades of white, blue and grey which leaves it lacking warmth and personality.
I wouldnt be surprised if the owners moved in and realised the house wasnt great to live in as a family and thats the reason they are selling
Ah you're right, it's very subtle.
I'd much rather take the money put into that and build a smaller house that's actually inviting and soothing to be in.
Probably in Wales now.
I'd to put me jacket on looking at those pics.
Utility has a swing door. It can be seen in the floorplan and in the video.
Meath Co Co are notorious for stipulating small windows and no eaves on houses in order to approve planning. It’s like they think the 19th Century farm house was the pinnacle of design and the whole county should look like that.
Eaves stop your whole wall from getting wet among other benefits.
Not even a shrub or flower bed for nearly a million. They have to be having a laugh.
Sligo Co Co are the same, although I think they might have changed the policy on eaves because a house with no eaves on the west coast makes no sense
anyone for a bottle of wine?

Never mind the wine (I am VERY impressed!) - the two non-matching windows in the front 😱😱
WTAF??
Fabulous house - far too cluttered, though, and what's the staircase up the middle of a large room all about?
Straight away I noticed the windows aswell - why would anyone pick windows different to the other windows.
It could be a lovely house - huge potential there - it needs alot of money invested in it though. Its always a bad sign when only photos of a few rooms are shown - Im guessing that they are the better rooms ( even though they are in a rough state) and the rest is of a poor standard.
It looks like the owners liked to spend money on wine instead of the house - fair play to them 😂. I wouldnt be surprised if all the bottles are empty.
Also boils my p!ss when people are trying to sell a house/car/whatever and put up POA 🤬
Like it’s a secret or something

Wow - that paints a different picture alright!
Although it's like two different houses - the "good" bit and the bit they actually use and live in - see the fire grate in the front door as an example, they clearly never use that beautiful hallway. Although the tiling in the back hallway - I want!!! 😍
An absolute money-pit, no doubt - but if you had the funds, what a house!!
I like a lot of it as it is, hasn't been "over-modernised".
The massive stoves everywhere, you'd be all day chopping and hauling wood!
Radiators are few and far between. I'd say the place is an icebox. The place has to be rewired and replumbed as far as I can see. It's not a mad price for what you get all the same. Lots of outbuildings that look in pretty good shape.
Great finish on the stove below.
Unusual to see a back door with no handle, keyhole etc. It must be bolted from the inside.
Think the staircase in middle of room is in the cottage/barn conversion to the side of the house. You can see the pellet stove sitting in a bricked up doorway and the stove exhaust is visible in the exterior pic. Stone steps leading up to a solid wall!
Love the yard and outbuildings but it must be a mega money pit.
Oh I like it too but as it stands it wouldnt be a great house to live in. I would say its an absolute ice box in the winter.
I would keep the old features but would have to modernise with modern heating etc.
Some dubious stains on some of the ceilings. Attractive house if you could afford to run it though.
You'd wonder do they actually drink the wine or just have some sort of thing for collecting wine to store.
I love it!!! Would be chilly in the winter to say the least. €675,000 sounds reasonable but you would want
another nice chunk to insulate it and have a nice heating system.
Oops, wrong thread!
Do you think the mini-camper and canoe will be included at 675k?
