Not a good look. I wonder did he go because this was going to come to light?

What are are you on about?
Your interpretation of other people's motives in their posts is absurd.
I neither posted anything to downplay or justify.
Get a grip and stop projecting your thoughts onto other people's posts
Not at all
As a union rep she has been campaigning against the management culture for many years
Somehow I think the Indo might be trying to swing the public back in favour of Tubs but hang out the board in RTE
Why can the NUJ not get NK to negotiate their contracts with the national broadcaster?
I wouldn't be too sure of that.....they will probably create a "show biz" section on RTE 1 and have a 40 something year old acting like a teenager and the only women in the World perfect for that is.......
Lottie f**king Ryan
By my calculations, after tax 75k is approx 3.5k extra a month. Can someone tell me you wouldn’t notice that?
Polling is all about what question you ask. Hence the huge apparent difference between pools. And on top of that, of course, is interpretation.
Yippee!
Not just Lottie...........😁😁😁😁😁
Just bought the Indo.....surprised to see 47% of people think he shouldn't be on RTE again. That seems low
But for a long time I feel their polls are a load of rubbish
Just based on my own personal interactions the last few days I have yet to meet a single person who says he should be back on, even the guy in the shop who I had a quick chat while buying the paper said he is "screwed but can't go back on RTE"
great to see the re-reg’s back hurling abuse whilst calling for #kindness to be shown to Tubs.
I am extremely professional in my dealings with RTÉ. You, once again, have no idea what you are talking about.
The fact I have bought advertising from RTÉ does not preclude me from commenting on the quality of the output, the contradictions expressed aloud by a host, or for example questioning the relationship between an agent and the station.
93% believe RT not to blame. I find that hard to believe. What did he look at his account and think the tooth fairy was visiting? It was blatantly obvious he was receiving surplus cash and didn’t blow the whistle. He kept his mouth shut and pocketed the money hoping no one was the wiser. Concealment.
Richard Howard is a **** shite advisor it seems. He needs to be looked at because he was involved in the FAI aswell. What other state/semi state entities has he been involved with? Is he a sort of go to person on creative matters🤔
Thanks Ryan , we’ll take that on board
Whatever about the furniture industry, it’s got sweet FA to do with RT getting money in an underhanded manner
but is it technically lying - I think the sofa industry is using a clever marketing ploy
Deep insight or not the poster has a deep personal dislike of certain personalities that colours everything the post. Also if they are involved with RTE in the way they say they are they are also incredibly unprofessional.
Shows what little they know.
Okkk.
Not a SF voter myself but this is truly a bizarre rant.
True what they say about statistics.
That’s almost identical to Alan partridges ad for canal holidays
Some of the positives from the Sunday Independent Poll
* over 50% wish to see RT return to RTE
* 93% believe RT not to blame for this scandal
I see in the Sunday Times that, during the early stages of this payment vehicle via Astus being set up. “RTE sought advice from Richard Howard, a partner at audit company Deloitte.”
And the chief cheer leader of covid lockdowns was Tubridy himself ,he never foresaw the far reaching consequence of that, Renault pulled out of sponsorship because of the shortage of cars anyway, uniquely in capitalism they didn't need to advertise because there was a shortage of cars caused by lockdowns, and the chief cheerleader of lockdowns was Tubridy himself
Too late lads, the cats are out of the bags, no point going into battle for these gougers now.
The RTE board are definitely not phil hogan type, politicians would have handled that questioning a million times better. RTE are all nepotism, they never thought they would have to face the public even though they are a public service broadcaster supposedly, they crumbled at the first pressure
From bad to worse for RTE:

”20 years back at least “
try 30 years,to my first encounter with RTE,and to my colleagues, another 10years at least previously
massively overpaid staff with no responsibility towards losing valuable equipment
Ah. Sorry, I am new to boards. I did not know who the bullsh-itters were. I see you are one.
I watched the whole thing live. It is honestly the best RTE show I have watched in years, and I cannot wait for the new characters to appear.
My point is, that I have already watched both days live, so I will not repeat my question. Your answer is that you do not know.
Don't get me wrong .... I welcome all this ... but surely all this endemic corruption in RTE was known about for years .... why is it only now everyone is serious about it ??
That said and done I am glad to see the likes of Tubridy, Noel Kelly and Dee Forbes being exposed for what they really are ... that flop called Toy Show the Musical is also being targeted ... the amount of money RTE squandered on salaries and self serving useless projects is shocking ... but I cannot help feel that this should have been tackled about 20 years back at least ...
