I wouldn't expect a CFO to be down in the nitty gritty everyday stuff, they have team(s) for that. The systems are in place and anything that smells off in the financial area should be picked up on straightaway and brought up the line, to the CFO.

Veronia Murphy TD seems to be a bit of a 'political refugee' judging by her wikipedia page.
Joe is! Admittedly he's not directly involved but is very much the elephant (excuse the pun!) in the room with regards how much he draws from RTE via NKM. I think it was a no brainer editorially to take RT off air and can't really see the logic of Verona Murphy's approach that even though RT is still being compensated for doing nothing, somehow he would also have a case against RTE for reputational damage and termination of contract (Even though the insinuation made yesterday is that his deciding to finish his LLS role effectively brough and end to his existing contract). I'd say Verona from her days as the haulage rep is hyper litagion sensitive so, if it were her she'd be running to a lawyer for any slight on her character.

I don't understand this.
Ryan isn't an rte employee. He is basically a third party company who provides a service to rte, and bills them for such.
If he is out of contract with rte, which we were told the other day, then he is gone. There is no 'resigning' to be done. Rte owe him nothing more, unless there is a signed contract somewhere to say he was due to do another X no of years with them. But we have to believe the fact that he's out of contract.
He's an employee of rte as much as I am.
