I don't think anyone is suggesting Tubridy did anything illegal, but it looks really really bad from a PR point of view at least. He has basically said as much in his own statement.

I see this Noel Kelly as a shrewd business person and the talent he represents as smart as he seems to get the best for them - RTE are off their rocker with how much control they have let this agency excert over them it’s like they just didn’t give a toss.
