Queens have 2 Elton's now seemingly!
I'd have gone to see Elton John if I was there because I've seen queen's of the stone age many times, but judging by this that would have definitely been the wrong call.
QOTSA sound incredible, best of the weekend I think. Crowd seems small - must have all been at Elton.

I actually think the songs themselves carried Macca's show alot more last year
...thought tonight as a performance was better.
Camera work at this Glasto has been terrible - constantly moving, never settling on anything for more than a moment, and more often than not pointing at the wrong musician when someone takes a solo.

Not too often you see big bands still play with cords these days, most are via wireless transmitters.

Absolutely brilliant set by Elton.
Sure there's a few songs he could've added. Can You Feel The Love Tonight?
Could have easily brought out someone, do a cover or two, come back for an encore. Don't get me wrong Rocketman was class.
More a case that Macca raised the bar to another level last year I think.
