We can shoot from further out with a breeze.
It’s easy to say we can shoot from range in the second half with the breeze, but that’s not much use if we can’t even hit the target from close range.
Second half should be a different game. Surely the wind will allow mayo to kick over any defensive tactics.
100%. That's as bad a half of football as I've seen from a Mayo team in a while. Awful on the breaks and no strong fielder to catch a ball in the middle. Big issues there.
Confidence around shooting looks completely drained.
The first couple of shots are key - if they go over, confidence will be up and we might kick but if they go wide, it could be one of those days

Definitely. Good to reel in the lead, but a lot of glaring problems still there. Midfield was wiped and we are awful around the breaks. Tbh Comer going off was a blow for Galway. It may have been a different story if he stayed on.

McLaughlin clearing off the line redeemed himself big time. Some daft mistakes from him before that though.
