Ukraine have been fighting a poorly trained, poorly equipped, and badly organised Army which seems to have incompetence running from the very top down. Were Prigozhin to get his way and remove those 'incompetents' Ukraine could find themselves facing a much tougher opponent.

I think there is a lot of support for him and he must of been given the go ahead to launch this. If there only 2 hrs from Moscow very soon they will be 90 mins then an hr away. If there going to stop them they would want to do it soon. No point if there on the streets of Moscow. It's a bit like Afghanistan when the taliban made the final push on the capital and ISIS moving across Syria and Iraq. If there not stopped or its not shown that putin can stop them then I honestly can see them in Moscow by midnight tonight. Air power can slow them down but if there is no one on the ground trying to fight them well it might slow you down but still be in Moscow before you know it.

Dunno, he's a thug and a hot-head, if I had to guess he's trying to perform a coup against the military in Russia (not the leadership). Seeing if he can flip the military to his side and replace Shoigu, Gerasimov, etc with himself. The fact that he rolled into Rostov so easily means he definitely has sympathies on the inside (FSB, Russian military and others)
Of course I expect him to be dead or dealt with in 24/48 hours, but he's made extraordinary progress so far.

Even if the CIA and Biden wanted to do this, and gave piles of cash to Wagner .. they haven't got the military force to take Putin and Moscow opposed. He has to have support inside Russia. Like maybe if Putin was assassinated, you could pin it on the CIA influence.
