There was a report earlier on that Putin had fled to his residence in Novo Ogaryovo, and now that he's gone to St. Petersburg, and now this thing about trying to flee to Kazakhstan.
We probably don't know where Putin is. Maybe the CIA has a fair idea. I would say it's reasonable to assume he's no longer in Moscow, though.

The plane to St Petersburg is supposed to be the prime minister.
If Vlad does a runner it will be on the down low. If he starts jumping around on the presidential plane it will be an easy target for a number of different parties, who can say it was somebody else that shot it down.
The optics of Kadyrov's men fighting Prigozhin's inside Russia would be beyond horrendous for the regime.
Kaliningrad would probably be the safest place for him? The international arrest warrant certainly doesn't help.
But it's still early days, we'll have to see how big a force Wagner end up with when they reach the outskirts of Moscow (there are reports of other Russian forces joining the Wagner convoy enroute)
