2021: Russia - second army in the world
2022: Russia - second army in Ukraine
2023: Russia - second army in Russia
There's a few videos popping about about Kadyrovites on their way to Rostov. Don't know if they are legit but Wagner seem to be preparing for a siege.
Yeah
Prigozhin left two of his 'top guys' behind in Bakhmut to support the Russian Army.
Tubridy must be praying they get to Moscow!
Rumour that Putin's plane tried to enter Kazakhstan air space and that he wanted to hand power over.
May well be true.
Reports of lots of units joining in the convoy and that units might be brought back from Ukraine by Prigozhin to reinforce his coup.
..
Fresh off the press, thanks @Discodog
If things start getting messy and more embarrassing for Putin, that's the propaganda they will spin. CIA funded it and gave Wagner Intel etc...
Usual shite they spew.
Maybe with seized Russian assets :)
Last night I would have agreed with you. Now I don't know what to think. Wagner took Rostov without any resistance.
If Putin does snuff this out, it has still completely undermined the authority and credibility that has held him in office for decades. He's done for.
Wagner have taken the HQ of southern military district in Rostov, and have also blocked and mined the exit from Rostov to occupied Donetsk/Luhansk.
Keep main russian forces stuck in Ukraine so they cant intervene easily
I reckon the CIA paid these mercs off. Doubled whatever the Russians were paying. Could be the beginning of the end of Putin with some luck.
Prigozhin now saying that the invasion of Ukraine was unjustified.
The Wagner head, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has accused Moscow’s leadership of lying to the public about the justifications for invading Ukraine, in the latest sign of conflict between Vladimir Putin’s government and one of his most important allies.
In an explosive 30-minute video posted on his Telegram channel, Prigozhin dismissed Moscow’s claims that Kyiv was planning to launch an offensive on the Russian-controlled territories in eastern Ukraine in February 2022.
“There was nothing extraordinary happening on the eve of February 24,” Prigozhin said.
“The ministry of defence is trying to deceive the public and the president and spin the story that there was insane levels of aggression from the Ukrainian side and that they were going to attack us together with the whole Nato block,” the Wagner head said.
Shortly after Russia attacked Ukraine, Putin claimed Moscow’s invasion had thwarted Ukraine’s own plans for “a massive attack on the Donbas, and then on the Crimea”.
Prigozhin also said Russia’s leadership could have avoided the war by negotiating with Ukraine’s president, Volodomyr Zelenskiy.
“When Zelenskiy became president, he was ready for agreements. All that needed to be done was to get off Mount Olympus and negotiate with him,” he said.

No Way
Yeah, they're probably pulled out but any in theatre now need to be contained by regular Russian forces. That'll strain their resources even more
Could still be Wagner owned though.
they operate all manner of stuff, minivans, coaches, even saw a machinegun technical in one of todays videos (Rostov?)
Its not a proper civil war without flatbed truck technicals on the go!
Probably as much as us, this is all over telegram
You'd hope so, so that this rebellion is prolonged and causes as much turmoil for Russia as possible, but Prigozhin is the same guy who took eight months to take one town and really only did so by throwing men at the situation until Ukrainians ran out of bullets. I'd have doubts about his tactical sophistication is what I'm saying. We can only hope that regular Russian forces tasked with defending the homeland are either more inept, or (more likely) just not that bothered fighting for Putin.
I don't see Wagner making it all the way to Moscow, motorways and roads can be blocked, bridges blown, etc. I wouldn't be surprised to see a regional curfew put in place which will make Wagner units vulnerable to air attacks.
But Rostov, which is a large military hub, if they have control of the base there they should have a lot of toys, fuel, ammo. They're also not far from the large airbase on the way to Moscow which has at least 100 aircraft.
Yeah, looking at again you're probably right.
Im not sure. They were mostly around Bakhmut but left a couple of weeks ago. It would be interesting to see what the Wagner forces in Africa and Middle East are up to right now. Are they even there?
This is **** insane
It's been Igor Girkin's contention for months that Kremlin insiders are pulling Prigozhin's strings. Former PM Kiriyenko has been mentioned.
I see Konstantin Sonin is speculating about Tula governor Alexey Dyumin this afternoon.
@Cushtie
I take it that's whoever is orchestrating this in the background reveals themselves.
An artic lorry
They'll Keep digging that trench till Wagner drive past I'd say.
If they get to Moscow its pretty much all over, if the State forces didn't make an effort to stop them for the 900km to Moscow, they are not going to do it the last 50km to the Kremlin.
I wonder will we see the Kremlin leadership flee to safety, just in case and the lower ranks just let Wagner in, why fight for Comrade Putin and co. when you are the one left in the firing line.
Are there any Wagner forces still deployed, in Ukraine?
They'll definitely know something's up if their ammo and rations stop coming suddenly.
I can picture that meme with the drowning kids and Ukraine being ignored with all this fast pace drama.
We're quite possibly going to see more tanks in red square soon than they had during their victory day parade!
I wonder how much the Russian troops in the trenches know about what is occurring back home.
