If Prigozhin is saying the invasion of Ukraine was based on a lie, then that would, traditionally, sound like he's saying that the invasion is unjustified and not worth pursuing. That is unless he were to turn around and go, "...but here's the real reason to invade Ukraine.".

What Russian armed forces?
Their losses in Ukraine have had a colossal impact. What is left in Russia proper is paper thin.
All their mechanised infantry and armoured battalions and reserve units have been decimated. Losses among battlefield helicopters and ground attack fixed wing aircraft and drones are also considerable, by all informed accounts.
The question is, are there enough forces to block the way to Moscow and among there number are there enough professional soldiers willing to lay down their lives for Putin's regime? The regime that has sent probably hundreds of thousands of their numbers to their death and capture.
It's seen fairly often in the early parts of a civil war that people are reluctant to open fire. But once it gets going it won't stop and I can't see the Moscow battalions standing aside.
