Good news, but my gut feeling is that this Prigozhin move will collapse in a few days. Now that the entire Russian propaganda apparatus has been mobilized against Prigozhin, his troops won't have any support among normal Russians and I am guessing it will fizzle out rapidly.

This is chaos. Everyone is scrambling. It's basically a big swinging dick contest at this point and neither Putin nor Prigozhyn look to be the types to back down.
Pretty soon the Russian army is going to have to engage somewhere or they risk a capitulation.
There hasnt been much fighting yet other than the 3 helicopters downed.
The FSB stood aside and allowed wagner free movement from ukraine and internally within Russia. Several MoD military groups stood down also near Rostov and Voronezh.
The Chechens likely will fight - kadyrov will not risk Putin out of power as it could spell the end of him. Similar for other Putin appointees in the regions, they will back him until such a point as its obvious he will lose, and then back the other guy.
Seeing as the main public reason for all this is the MoD attitudes to soldiers in ukraine, poor supply, no regard for loss of life etc - its hard to see much of the regular Russian forces fighting wagner either - many of them would share Prigozhins motivations too.
A pretty exciting 3rd act after so much filler, the writers of this show really threw a spanner in the works

This all seems just chaotic. If all Russian soldiers/defence keep stepping aside and Wagner did actually take control , is this a good or bad thing? I mean it’s a different thing but it’s not clear if this could be worse for stability. I suppose the IRA blended into Sinn Fein, so perhaps it might not be as bad as it sounds like it could be?
