Anyone get some reliable sources for this yet?
Edit: RU may have and still is launching missile strikes at Wagner positions.

Crimea is one complicated region, and understandably so. I came across this article last year when trying to understand how Russia had rolled in and set up shop so easily:
the long and short of it was, lots of the Crimean military higher ups had served in the USSR/Russian military, and still felt strong bonds to it. So when the opportunity came along to re-join, they took it gladly. The loyal Ukrainian forces had to abandon their bases and posts, as in a lot of cases, half or more of their units swapped to the Russian side (a lot of which had actually been pre-arranged). Between that, and the pro-Russian civilians assisting in the storming of bases and civic buildings, the Ukrainian forces were left in an impossible situation

If this is all true and not some psyops we may be seeing the start or a coup or serious civil disturbance
We know Prigozhin is mental.
But how mental must he actually be, to think he has a chance against Russia's regular Army?
I know Russia have been rubbish in Ukraine, but they still have plenty of cruise missiles and drones and long range artillery. Its members deployed within occupied Ukraine would not survive a assault from their undefended flanks by Russian stand-off weapons.
One or two good attacks would cause panic and pretty quickly Wagner would disintegrate.
Prigozhin is already a dead man walking. His operatives will probably be offered a simple choice - join the Russian regulars, or die.
No one find it odd it's just audio of the Wagner chief and no actual videos?
Strelkov, Girkin and Prigozhin all getting uppity together. This could get interesting.
If a real military coup was in the offing, it wouldn't be announced ahead of time. That's a sure-fire way to make it fail. I mean, there's been oligarchs falling out of windows for much slighter transgressions than attempting to overthrow Putin, and since being overthrown is Putin's greatest fear, he'd be all over it if he had the slightest inkling it was a possibility. As they say, the revolution will not be televised (and it probably won't be on social media, either).
That's all going to change when Ukrainian armor enters Crimea see how many rats flee across the kirsch bridge,it will bring an end to Crimea being a Kremlin retirement village

They used to describe the people who studied the inner politics of Moscow as Kremlinologists.
Seems the leading questions were always, what's really going on behind the latest story and who is using it to screw over who.
Prigozhins Wagner PMC are probably at their weakest they have been in a long time, from a military point of view. I don't think they are able do much at the moment. If it wasn't for the hundreds of millions they are bringing to the Russians economy through the theft of African resources Prigozhin would be dead by now.
Take this with a metric ton of salt, Bakhmut Demon alleges that remnants of Wagner still at Bakhmut have opened fire on the Russians.

Seen this on couple of trusted telegram channels and twitter accounts that are usually good.
Weirdly also claims (no proof) that some Russian units have sided with Wagner forces.

Yes. He's no stranger to cutting videos of his rants. In fact he clearly enjoys it. As a man who ran quite a lot of bot farms in his time he has an innate understanding of social media.

If what is getting reported is true, would it be for security reasons? So the Russian army cannot geo-locate him?
Or is this all some mastermind level smoke and mirrors act for another plan.
Or it is a ruse for total mobilization?
Seems Prigozhin said Shoigu will be hung in Red Square and dumped in with Lenin.
Thinking left field, this might be the old Socialist stab in the back story. Comrade Prigozhin coming to the rescue of Putin from the deceitful Shoigu and Geri.. who have betrayed Russia on the battlefield and hoodwinked poor Comrade Vlad.
It may just as likely be the other old Socialist story, fall out with your own side and start killing them.
Fascinating stuff to watch unfold.
