I think Dublin clubs will return a number of tickets. Keep an eye on ticketmaster tomorrow and Friday.
There's a couple of twitter accounts passing on unwanted tickets. Sparegaatickets or GAA tickets - something like that.
I'd imagine more tickets will become available soon online and the usual outlets.
I'd be dropping Seamie for Gearoid if Gearoid was any way fit. Seamie is alright for 10 minutes at the end but he doesn't offer enough in open play at the moment.
I think Seamie back to the half back line would work better, he's strong, physical and fast and a better defender than Dan.
mistake
Think I'd start Callanan against Galway, offers much more and will really trouble McInerney. Allows Forde out to centre forward also where he'll pick up plenty of scores roaming off Dathi. O'Connor was unlucky to get injured when he did but I still think he can have an impact off the bench.
I might be tempted to spring him from the bench.
I think Craig Morgan is important. We really need his pace at the back, especially to bring out from the back. If we can get something from him. Even just twenty minutes, it would be a big help.
Yeah I meant Callanan, sorry I can see how there was confusion. Kennedy definitely starts. Don't think Callanan has been good enough in any appearance this season to merit starting. Has chipped in with important scores late on when brought off bench against Cork and Limerick but think he didn't do enough when starting v Waterford or Offaly. Scoring 1-0 in a 7-37 win is quite symbolic of how tough he has found it to get involved. He isn't out quick enough to ball played into space, and if he is lurking around the square for handoffs, the likes of Kehoe will just put the head down and barrel on himself rather than laying it off.
Off the bench for the final 10-15 is where I'd see his role in the squad.
There will be buckets full of tickets on ticketmaster tomorrow, not a jaysus hope of it been a sell out. Last year was a double header for QF's and you had Clare, Galway, Cork and Wexford - the attendance was 34,600 - the capacity of Gaelic Grounds is 44,000.
Is someone seriously suggesting that the combined support of Tipp and Dublin is 9,500 greater that the combined support of Cork and Wexford.
Tickets up on Ticketmaster there now.
There may well be loads of tickets online tomorrow but it's not unreasonable to want to make travel and other plans a bit further in advance than that, especially those travelling with children and/or elderly relatives. Some day I might only have my own ticket and travel plans to worry about but it won't be this year or next.
A lot of people decided on Tuesday when they couldn't get tickets to let that be that, if tickets come available Thursday or Friday not everyone can just decide on a whim at that point in the week. At knockout stage a standalone fixture would have sold well IMO, maybe with only one terrace open but sure look there might be a nice bit of space around if not all clare/Dublin supporters stay around for the full 70 minutes if Tipp/Galway
Tiobraid Árann abú
As predicted a shed load of tickets on ticketmaster just now, wont be 35k at it, despite the drama queen nonsense!
will be mighty tipp and Mayo to beat in the space of 24hrs. Us dual counties really get great mileage out of the GAA. I’ll go to both it’s cheaper than gaago 😂😂😂😂.
Ye must be broke from all the travelling
The company allows a lot of time off 😂😂😂😂
Shed load? all I see is terrace tickets up at the moment, not exactly a shed load. Some people for health reasons or young families can't go to the terrace. So people trying to get some stand tickets to a game are considered drama queens!
No Craig Morgan
Decent looking Galway team
As good as we have.
Hope we can do it. getting into a semi final would be a big step forward from last year.
Craig back from a cruicate, was alway a gamble with the hamstring. Pity. Feared the worst before he took the field. Bonnar must have a knock also.
Forecast is good at the moment. Might change again.
What terrace are the Tipp supporters in on Saturday?
The opposite one to Clare I'd say lol
City end
Hopefully the loosing one.
"Loosing " I guess school wasn't for everyone.
Damn autocorrect. My apologies pedantic pat.
Be a lot of familiar faces gone next year. Overall, Galway were 12 points the better team.
Up front, the first half was absolutely terrible.
Shocking performance. One thing I was horrified to see was a so called Tipp fan in a Tipp jersey hanging over the railing abusing Liam Cahill at full time. **** clown
That was just an awful performance, no legs, no energy, no intensity. Can't seem to cope with week on week games. Played lots of long balls and played right into Galways strength, really was clueless stuff.
