From reading about it, the Ukrainians entered the trench from the rear, hence the Russians being so ill prepared. They killed 10 Russians apparently.
This conflict has displayed many examples of advanced technology that allow attacks to be conducted from far away, such as drones and long range fires that are accurate to a few metres. However, It’s kind of humbling that, if you want to be sure that a trench is cleared, you still have to have men on the ground manually clearing them just like in World War 1.
Looks like they're going tacking on more time to Navalny's sentence in yet another show trial:
It's f*cking terrifying. Death waiting around every corner.
But according to some here he's just a scummy Nazi based on his nationality and doesn't matter how many decades he serves for opposing this vile regime. The true heroes are of course sitting in Ireland offering resistance via boards....
Navalny may not be a saint but if Russia had more like him the regime might actually fall
cliche for Facebook mother Theresas clinching for the likes. And thanked by 3 well known putin bots + one decent poster tells it all.
Check his former posts. If he/she had a LinkedIn profile, it would probably say something like - Senior Nuclear Bomb Warning coordinator working at establishment linked to Prigozhin.
BBC article from someone embedded in the Ukrainian forces. If anyone doubted that war is hell and that both sides aren't suffering major losses...
Cry me a river. ruSSians can prove me wrong anytime anyday, but they don't. Where are all those decent people, particularly ones living outside Russia?! Where are the protests? Loud speak outs? Where?! instead they make Z parades in large numbers, and tweets asking Putin to bomb a UA support meetings in Germany, and many other EU countries.
I would not be in the least surprised 😂
I know Toby from the Liverpool forum and just to say don't read too much into what he posts. His opinions can sometimes be a little "out there"
Can't believe myself, but specially for you I edited my post as I actually had to agree.
Not at all. I just don’t see the logic in thinking all people of a country think and act the same.
I’m following this thread in the hope that Russia will get kicked out of Ukraine, thoroughly defeated and made to pay for their actions.
All the name calling is nonsense and ads nothing to the debate
when it comes to ruSSia - there is nothing to debate anymore. Whats left is fighting. When their Nazi regime will fall, we can debate again.
Very, very explicit warning on this, trench warfare (uncensored)
Nobody said that,
Bar a few people on here including me ,
If anything nothing would change other than a call for calmer heads and proper dialogue.
As they way the world currently works
I think these so called probing assaults aren't going the way many would have hoped , heavy losses have previously claimed in western media over the last two weeks, we might hear more calls for F16s but they won't change any outcome on the ground,
There were people who said there would be very serious consequences for putin's forces if nuclear weapons were used in Ukraine and your comment that nothing would change is very likely to be nonsense.
Wonders never cease! If we can agree on something, there's hope
According to NYTimes, Ukraine has paid hundreds of millions of dollars for weapons that were never delivered, or were delivered in unusable condition.
Ukraine has paid contractors hundreds of millions of dollars for weapons that have not been delivered, and some of the much-publicized arms donated by its allies have been so decrepit that they were deemed fit only to be cannibalized for spare parts.
.....as of early this spring, hundreds of millions of dollars had been paid — including to state-owned companies — for arms never materialized
Ukrainian government documents show that its Defense Ministry paid $19.8 million to an American arms dealer, the Tampa-based Ultra Defense Corporation, to have the 33 howitzers repaired. In January, 13 of those howitzers were shipped to Ukraine but arrived “not suitable for combat missions,” according to one of the documents.
Well during the USSR Ukrainians were resorting to cannibilism thanks to the Kremlin. I know isolating the focus to events unfolding today might make one seem better than the other, but I'm not sure if Ukrainians today would rather live under the USSR or face the invasion they are facing now.
yes, but USSR during Stalin and after Stalin were different.
I don't quite agree with you.
There would be a big reaction by the West, it is not clear on what the reaction would be but there would of course be a serious reaction to Russia dropping a Nuclear bomb in Europe in 2023.
Still shocking after Stalin. Invading countries, their incompetence led to more Ukrainians dying and Ukrainian land becoming irradiated. Even after Stalin you had anyone outspoken being silenced, political shifts across the bloc leading to any opposition was always crushed and the Kremlin considered Eastern Europe as nothing but a buffer between the west and Russia. All this, along with the entire world at one stage being very close to destruction in 1962, doesn't paint much positivity.
Let's keep an eye on this one. See if it's true or not.
There is also worrying news...
So much for them collapsing they are going on the offensive by the looks of it
I think this would be the final throw the dice for a Russian offensive. Genuinely think they have nothing left in the tank (excuse the pun) for anything offensive.
Modern warfare
Guy from a video earlier today may have been somewhat well known.
let them. that way it will be easier to erase them.
