BBC article from someone embedded in the Ukrainian forces. If anyone doubted that war is hell and that both sides aren't suffering major losses...
Check his former posts. If he/she had a LinkedIn profile, it would probably say something like - Senior Nuclear Bomb Warning coordinator working at establishment linked to Prigozhin.
cliche for Facebook mother Theresas clinching for the likes. And thanked by 3 well known putin bots + one decent poster tells it all.
But according to some here he's just a scummy Nazi based on his nationality and doesn't matter how many decades he serves for opposing this vile regime. The true heroes are of course sitting in Ireland offering resistance via boards....
Navalny may not be a saint but if Russia had more like him the regime might actually fall
It's f*cking terrifying. Death waiting around every corner.
Looks like they're going tacking on more time to Navalny's sentence in yet another show trial:
This conflict has displayed many examples of advanced technology that allow attacks to be conducted from far away, such as drones and long range fires that are accurate to a few metres. However, It’s kind of humbling that, if you want to be sure that a trench is cleared, you still have to have men on the ground manually clearing them just like in World War 1.
From reading about it, the Ukrainians entered the trench from the rear, hence the Russians being so ill prepared. They killed 10 Russians apparently.
A drone crawls into a Z-tank
It's a well deserved label to apply to every single Russian at this stage. You'd excuse them for a few months while they figure out what is going down. But at this stage they can be in no doubt that they are complete pariahs and need to implement regime change from within and without.
There should be armed drones covering every trench attack. Easily said...
Yeah, it's a camera mounted on the soldier, so the first thing many of us will liken the footage to is an FPS game because that's our only frame of reference.
As intense as participating in combat must be, this kind of trench combat has to be something even a level above that. It's dark, it's claustrophobic, you're a split second away from death at any time. Despite all this, you need to be cool and disciplined and be able to immediately assess if the desperate figures appearing around corners are friend or foe, before pumping them with bullets if they're the latter.
That’s crazy footage, a lot different from all quiet on the western front…. More like a video game…..
Well this sucks:
Amazing the amount of useful professional grade information that is provided by people volunteering crazy amounts of their time.
Meanwhile, here's Russia packing a T-54/55 with explosives and driving it (remotely you'd expect/hope) at Ukrainian positions.
Glad for the initial mine holding it up further away, but that was an insane explosion - would fear for those out of the trenches to finish it off.
They'll need to look out for more of these traps - knowing the russians, I doubt they have better technology than a brick on a pedal
Watching this on YT on my coffee break this morning. I need to read up on the 2008 Bucharest Summit.
There is a possibility that this war will revert to attrition, or 'accelerated attrition' as someone put it.
...
I agree, the behaviour of some Russian's is but to label every single Russian as such is incorrect and to be honest blatant xenophobia.
I agree. The Russian behaviour in Ukraine, the raping, torture, murder, etc.....really is disgraceful.
It really is disgraceful.
Why do YOU keep banging the Nuke Drum??
You can't get Toffee Crisp in Russia anymore. All they have is a massive surplus of Double Deckers that nobody wants to eat.
Some intense footage of Ukrainians clearing a trench system

What's that quote from the Art of War?
'Appear weak when you are strong, appear strong when you are weak'
If there is a pause and its not dome feint, they are doing it because the UAF value the lives of their soldiers. The Russians use the meat grinder the Ukrainians use their brains
Regroup, rethink, rearm and go again.
It would take hours for the water to reach them in that scenario, theyd easily have time to get back to either bank
That’s pure xenophobic rubbish. No Blacks, No Irish stuff
Pyatikhatki has been taken.
Note the flag on the ground of south Ossetia, a part of Georgia currently under Russian occupation.
Another fire in moscow
Half a week has passed since the Estonians said that but there has been fighting in that time.
