I hope so. I was fearing a drift towards it being a type of celebrity status.
Some of that attention from the media is self inflicted tho....keep the profile/ case relevant.
There's an endless fascination in the media with violent crime even years after certain events happened
Things I just don't get.
I don't get how low some media have become in what they assume we are interested in.
A newly married couple suffer a murder tragedy while on honeymoon a good few years back. Some press continue to post trivial updates on what he, his new wife and their children are getting up to.
I don't get how any of the subjects could be in any way comfortable with this.
True
the lack of a tie looks odd though.
Fake tan. Do people really think they look better wearing that stuff. It looks disgusting and the darker the tan the more comical it makes them look.
To be fair for the phone in the back pocket, women have to do it because of the lack of front pockets.
The tie are the thing that I don't get. I've rarely had to wear one because in my school (back in the 80s), it was optional, and it was never necessary for work.
Personally, I'd say the best thing about wearing a tie is the satisfaction you get when taking it off. 😁
Ditto doing it while walking around Tesco and struggling to do your shopping because of it.
People using a phone held horizontally apprentice style.
Many things I'm Ireland are redundant but continue due to inertia also not every person has a smartphone not everyone uses apps
People walking around holding a phone in their hand , people walking around with a phone in their back pocket what happens when they sit down ?
Young people smoking cigarettes , an expensive habit that's bad for your health .
This is the first time I noticed women wearing semi transparent dress,s that show underwear
Lip fillers look weird not attractive at all
In fairness ties are very uncomfortable.
Always been that way as far back as I can remember once the summer reaches us. White transparent trousers with black panties.
Men wearing suits with no tie & the top button of the shirt open.
Lip fillers, they make women look like cartoon characters. it looks awful so why spend your hard earned money on it? 99% of womens lips are ok so not sure why they get them.
Why does our Govt persist with these non-sensical paper discs for our motor tax/insurance/NCT in 2023.
Its not exactly sustainable to be producing these things, along with the cost associated with making and distributing them.
A relative visiting from Aus last year couldnt believe the fact that we didnt just have 1, but 3 discs. They said they got rid of their equivilent physical disc system in 2005!
The Garda a few years back decided to finally joing the 21st centrury with widespread adoption of ANPR technology that makes use of the unqiue identification number placed upon all cars called a registration plate. The need for a physical disc is completely redundant.
is it just me , i noticed it the last 2 months, young women wearing semi transparent dress,s so you can see exactly what lingerie they are wearing .its the middle of the day, they are not going to a night club.also more women wearing tops ,where its obvious they are not wearing a bra. i cycle around every day .maybe its just a summer fashion trend i never noticed before
The obsession with women with huge arses. Something thats crossed over from hip hop to mainstream. I like a shapely rear on a lady but not gone on the whole "butt" thing where theres this overt gravitiation towards bigger and rounder backsides.
Pretty simple maths.
Really? Sounds pretty dumb to me.
It's universally enough.
Who are you to decide it is enough?
Yes but 150k a week for any period of time is enough. It's not like they are paid 15 quid and hour.
We will agree to disagree.
If they are 26 they have about 6 years left to make good money. The money they make in their career will probably be the bulk if the money they have for the rest of their lives. Like I said, foolish not to.
See thats what I dont get greed and the obsession with making as much money as possible. And thats coming from a workaholic but its not money that drives me. would you want your kids growing up in Saudia Arabia? more to life than money.
Football careers are short. Not making as much money as you can while you can would be foolish.
Because the Saudi league is hardly CL standard and 150k per week is already an insane amount. How many private jets do you need?
Yeah but not making money at all costs. That Wolves footballer would make a lot of money if he went to a team in a decent league. its just pure greed to go to Saudi Arabia.
you aren't testing yourself by playing in a pub league when you can play at a far higher standard.
