and another added
Couldn’t find rose in my local one, they had put another very similar bottle in its part on the shelf so just be sure to check.
Got another coupon - Whiskey Set €9.74
Anyone using the Lidl Home app?
I got this one too. Which made me laugh because when I did the survey I said I wasn’t interested in alcohol deals.
Anyone not getting scratchcard?
Also free item out of stock.
That's alright Lidl, you own me as a customer.
The freebies seem to be back without a €10 spend.
I got that too.
The issue with not getting a scratchcard may be that I checked the digital receipt almost at the till. I usually wait a bit longer.
Is that a known bug?
The receipt comes almost instantly (most of the time). The scratchcard shows up later (minutes, hours, it depends). I don't know if it should be seen as a bug, but it's how it is.
The bug is that I got no scratchcard that time.
Never.
Never, ever....
Those monster claws are a pale imitation of the real thing and there's only 5 or 6 of them in each bag, Lidls 'tributes' are usually a lot better than that.
Is there a 10 off 50 coupon going around? saw two receipts earlier dated 12/06 with that coupon
and it's not a Lidl Plus as the receipts say to 'register for lidl plus and save...'
Just a heads-up to anyone considering the half price strimmers on the app that it is a bare unit - battery and charger are not included. Battery and charger will set you back another €40.
….
There are €10 off €50 paper vouchers for Lidl in Shackleton because Tesco and Aldi have opened very close by
As far as I can see there is no way to add them to the app, I got one along with my regular post - mad really as I'm not living that close by and have to pass another Lidl to get there - still delighted though and have used mine for last week
Is it happening in Lidl as well? I had heard about Aldi selling bags of their Monster Munch things with only two or three in the packs.
Being curious here, but how are you happening to come upon people's Lidl shopping receipts in the first place?!
I find Aldi's mighty munch knock offs identical to tayto and never had a short bag - although I haven't bought them in a few weeks so could be a new thing.
They are left in trollies. Curiosity really
What's that supposed to achieve? If they were self service checkouts maybe but ..
It’s to stop people shoplifting by hiding items in the trolley or in bags and not unpacking them, my local Lidl is getting robbed daily by folks legs of lamb etc just going out the door
+1 to that. The Aldi "Spuddys" are identical to Tayto too. I believe all made by Tayto Ireland.
Lidl's crisps are generally fairly poor.
Did anyone see the Parkside air pump in stores today. The one in the leaflet is miles different to the one in my store (no PSI reader and seems like no way to attach to car tyre).
Would all the regular cctv not catch that ? Or can the cashier see if someone left stuff under their trolley/ in bag in real time on there screen?
i am not 100% sure, i know staff in my local said they are plagued with shoplifters lately and they have removed the plastic screens now too
These are two I saw dated 12/06, they are not Lidl Plus. Second one must've had a calculator
Got caught by the sneaky feckers with the Parkrun beetroot "freebie" in the vacuum seal this week. Big green price labels with the number code from the app up in front of a load of vacuum packed beetroot. Only noticed the receipt now says I was charged 79 cents for it, so they had deliberately placed the wrong labels in front as there was no other vacuum packed beetroot on the shelves.
It's something that will get used anyway, but really annoyed that Lidl engage in this kind of deceptive behaviour towards customers. Similar stunts in the past at my local store with "no added sugar' beans, Flahavans porridge placed behind the (absent) own brand pricing labels, multipacks of crisps/popcorn/flavoured peanuts etc. but only exempted from the offer varieties on the shelf. etc. etc
Happens too regularly to just be a coincidence.
Got the beetroot no issue - only two options on shelf. You need to look at the SEL and the product. Staff are run off their feet
check the product matches the label on display
lild staff do not have time to be playing sneaky games to catch out customer that is getting a park run freebie
