Did anyone get clarification on the SEAI grant forms for there newly discounted/transferred cars, I sent a e-mail but no reply as yet.
Spoke to them on chat and got confirmation that the Irish delivery team are working on getting them out. Hopefully they'll land soon.
They say the exact same if you have one of the discounted cars above €60k which will never get the SEAI grant. So unfortunately this means nothing, you have to hear from Ireland delivery team - nobody else has a clue.
Send eft to their bank and the reference is your RN number.
Make sure you include your order reference on the payment as I found out to my peril it's very difficult to get it updated if you dont!

From experience, how many days to transfer money before collection? 2 days sufficient?
i do want to keep it as late as possible since Tesla didnt send me the grant email so far after many calls/chat/emails
Tesla Finance or go elsewhere what is the consensus for a MY. Been looking quickly and seems they may be the best value from what I can find. Everything seems to be done after placing initial order and paying the 250.
just got text to arrange pickup of M3 RWD Jun 19-23 however I'm out of the country next week. What are the chances they will push it to the following week? I assume I can ask over webchat?
Got delivery date of 29th June. Stinging a little that it’s missing out on 232 reg but hey ho.
They'll usually allow around 5-7 days as long as it's within the same quarter.
Just a question for the people who have collected recently, did a charge cable come with the car. Looking forward to collecting a M3LR on 26th and Trying to get some prep done
Tesla wont register your car until paid in full. After sending payments by electronic Funds Transfer it usually is reflected in your Tesla account the next day, but there are cut off times for Bank payments. If you intend making the payment yourself through online banking be aware that there are daily limits (most likely 10K per day).. You would be crazy to leave it to 2 days before pick up......Up to you to decide.
I will send it in the bank branch in 1 transfer , i am just worried to transfer money without having SEAI letter sent/signed
Related to your concerns - does anyone here with a discounted MYLR have a delivery date earlier than 28th June? Would give the rest of us a lot of assurance if someone successfully takes delivery before we all have to transfer money! Otherwise I fear we are all going to have to take a leap of faith.
I’d be looking to transfer no later than 4 days before collection, personally.
Come with both a granny charger and a type 2 cable.

I got the same text to collect next week as well, but I’m away too. I’ve asked by text if I can collect the following week?? No reply yet. M3RWD.
Update, I ordered a discounted car, had original order as well. Arranged with Tesla to transfer funds from original order to new order. This was initiated on Tuesday, completed today.
Collection of new car arranged for Monday. Original car cancelled.
From my experience, was quite seamless process. Can't fault Tesla, they were very helpful.
I'll update on Monday when I have car.
They will rearrange in the chat, no problem.
Did someone earlier not say they can’t transfer funds? Not disagreeing, just in the same position here and feeling bad about having 2 cars sitting on my account.
Did you get a refund of the original €250 booking deposit too?
I know they can't transfer that directly over and usually refund it, but I heard elsewhere that Tesla were saying it's "non refundable" (i.e. after cancelling an original order for a discounted one).
Was the original car more expensive? Did they send you the SEAI form for the new car collecting on Monday?
It is 100% refundable.
I had 2 cars in my app. When Funds transferred, original order was removed from Tesla app.
Took 48 hours to transfer the 40k+ I had on original order.
They gave me the line non refundable.
In the scheme of things if I don't get it back, I got 3k plus of extras for 1k.
