Would a vacuum cleaner get it out? You could duct tape a (length of) garden hose to the end of the vacuum flexi pipe to get around corners
This happened me, Tesla had to remove the two front seats from the car and pull up the carpet to get to the HVAC duct and retrieve a lipstick. Was driving me absolutely mad.
I have subsequently printed vent guards to stop it happening again.

Quick question for the long range folk, in my standard range Y. 418km is the default full charge range. What’s the corresponding range that shows on the long range at full?
put a deposit on a LR the other night at just over 50k. Might be able to get 44k for my own white on white with 8k kms. Worth it? I’m thinking maybe not

Came across a few posts last night with solutions. A vacuum cleaner has worked and also a leaf blower ( not that I have one ) in the drivers side vent has caused like objects to come flying out the passenger side. Had a closer look this morning and found two more f*n beads on the back floor. Going to try the duct tape and house first though. No real corners to deal with based on the tear down video.

I'm getting around 540km on a full battery for general use at the min. chill mode and I don't abuse the acceleration that comes with a MY but at the same time I don't drive particularly slow either. I not skimp on AC and I pre condition the car to cool down every time I use it.
I got the efficiency down to 112wh/km at one point heading to Athlone. I do 110 on motorways and use cruise control.
I must admit the lack of needing to constantly charge a few times a week for me is a bonus and worth the money to LR.

The figure you get on the right side of the battery has nothing to do with the driving style. Is what the car "thinks" its EPA range is. This is unlike other manufacturers who use the so called Guess-O-Meter to try and predict the range based on your previous drive. If you want to do that in a Tesla check the energy app.
Yeah that figure is useless. I stick it on percent and the energy graph is great.
The question asked was very simple. we all know this is not what you get. I drive a Y every day.

The EPA range of the Tesla Model y Long range is 488 kms (iirc). That should be what the car shows when new and full.
@staples7 I may be incorrect with that. Somewhere else I see the EPA as 525kms..

Yeah my range is based on how I drive. The next person may get less/ more depending how they drive but that’s what I’m currently getting.
since I got mine in April I’m averaging what the epa range is give or take 20/30km on full charge.
I don’t expect this to last once summer is over and if I got 430 at 100% in winter I’d be happy.. It shows tho how efficient it can be if you drive in chill and don’t whip around the place.
for comparison a family member has a Volvo full electric. They get the full epa give it take a little also. But they said in the colder weather he was 100km less
I also find the epa range fairly accurate in the warmer months for non motorway driving. But I still leave it in %. Either way I far prefer it to fluctuating Goms.

Updated to 2023.20.4.1 last night while having a pint in the local. Minor changes in this one although always good for a conversation starter on electric cars and technology in general.
Had a ranger service in the driveway the other day to fix an annoying noise, similar to birds chirping, when driving over speed ramps or uneven surfaces. Ranger found the problem straight away, said some plastic housing around the wheel arch/underbody wasn't sitting properly, causing it to rub and make the noise. All done and dusted in 10 minutes.
Full marks for Tesla. The OTA updates and mobile service are really top knotch.
