Krueger shirt... awesome. The shirts are part of the shtick with Beau, very enjoyable.
WRT to Faux news, Smartmatic's still out there. Woo.
There is still the option of appealing to the 11th circuit to have her recused. There is precedent in that circuit, I'm not sure of the spelling...it's something like US v Morton...US v Martin.
😳😳😳😳😳😳
That's gonna be a nat 1,
At least they're starting to seriously platform the consideration about whether they are a cult or not. That might be enough for some people to get out.
Oh yeah that's not a 2nd tier of justice
Chinese Walls?
More aptly a lawyer wall but - yes.
Whether they are all adhering to that or not, god only knows.
But its not a cult
I'd have my doubts😉. Trump will hold him close and sell him when the time comes.
Hopefully this is true..
Don’t look for Aileen Cannon to GAF
It's becoming more and more obvious with time that there's serious mental health issues on the right of US politics.
I was listening to a few pods and two in particular went into great detail regarding the special treatment trump is getting.
No mug shot, no restriction on travel, no bail etc etc.
So much respect shown to him.
And what does he do? He goes to Bedminster and sh1ts all over the DOJ.
The lesson here is that you can't appease him. Any favourable treatment will be thrown back in your face. He's going to go after you regardless.
Therefore, they should treat him like anyone else. Should have mugshot the ingrate and stuck him in handcuffs.
Wait, attendees had to raise or donate at least $100k each to get a seat and the trump team told CNN that they raised $2,000,000.?? So twenty people were there?
Ah to be fair, they said MORE than $2miion was grifted raised. How much more? Who knows!
A library…I just spat my coffee out!
You don’t keep colouring books in library!
In fairness it isn't unique to just the U.S.
E. Jean's amending her suit, now an additional $10million, because of TiFG's antics at the CNN 'town' hall:
"The revision sought to incorporate the jury verdict, as well as insults Trump lobbed a day later in a CNN town hall, where he called Carroll's account "fake" and labeled her a "whack job."
An old quote I've shared before: "The President is what the country is becoming."
She must of gotten that persepective from the newspapers she reads....you know *all of them*
(Hard to believe a few years ago I was mostly concerned with this dimwit trying to become President when a far more dangerous dimwit was just around the corner.)
Never more relevant, the Democrats will do anything to stop Trump running again.
It was very clever of the Democrats to get trump to admit to committing crimes on tape.
This is far more relevant, I have to say:
For a party that allegedly don't know what they're doing, the Dems are playing this one pretty well.
They are very much following the strategies of Napoleon
More like the strategies of Stalin and Pol Pot
Desperate stuff.
Stalin had purges and show trials that killed tens of thousands. Trump wouldn't be walking out of jail on his own bail if Biden was anything like them.
Pol Pot? Trump would have been dead within minutes of leaving office.
The comparison is so historically and politically inaccurate and utterly offensive to what actually happened to the victims of those tyrants, so easily refuted... it's like you are trying to score an own goal.
Rank hypocrisy yet again.
Its ok to say that Trump is a Nazi and 74 million people are fascists though.
This case is another hit job on Trump.
In 1940, Supreme Court Justice Robert Jackson warned against such selective targeting:
With the law books filled with a great assortment of crimes, a prosecutor stands a fair chance of finding at least a technical violation of some act on the part of almost anyone. In such a case, it is not a question of discovering the commission of a crime and then looking for the man who committed it, it is a question of picking the man and then searching the law books, or putting investigators to work, to pin some offense on him.
If the Republicans had employed similar tactics to Hillary Clinton, she would be rotting in a cell now.
Except people can actually describe, in excruciating detail, where Trump overlaps with the Nazis. @Carfacemandog made an epic post addressing this in 2020
Can you do remotely the same for Stalin or Pol Pot? No. But I'd love to see you try.
Trump seems happy to dog whistle to Nazis. And he tried to steal the election, which are not the actions of a democrat, and replace the US system of checks and balances with personal rule. There are overtones of fascism there.
If 74 million people are ok with that then they need to have a think about where that puts them.
But with this whataboutery, you seem to be admitting you actually are unable to provide any facts or evidence to show how Trump's current legal difficulties have any comparison to how Stalin or Pol Pot would have dealt with such a political adversary. So you made up a comparison you knew you couldn't justify.
