The police chief said the motive behind the attack was yet to be determined, but officers were keeping an “open mind” and working with counter-terror police.
GB News reported the suspect was a west African migrant.

Poor kids. What a disgusting coward. Out at 4am looking for innocent victims to hunt. No doubt the mental health card will be dealt in due course. RIP to the people who died and speedy recovery to the injured.

Violent crimes and murders are happening all the time. There's some more focus on some because of where the perpetrators are from but the obvious issue keeps getting ignored. It doesn't matter if the attacker is local, a foreigner, is white, black, Christian, Muslim etc, the attacker is nearly always a man! Why does this never get discussed? Why is it nearly always men? It's clearly a worldwide problem where some men are predisposed to violence. It's such a big issue that seems impossible to find a solution but that's not a reason to ignore it.
But we also ignore the fact that over 90% of murder victims are men. Men murdered by other men. Men are more naturally aggressive than women. That’s biology. It’s ignored because nothing can be done about it.
So we just throw our arms up in the air? Men will be men, we can't do anything about the violent tendancies.
That's not good enough. It can't keep getting brushed under the carpet. Is there something we can do in schools? Something in society?
yeah I mean, if you had a choice of going to Tokyo or staying in a Brazilian favela, you really wouldnt have anything to go on except looking up census data to give you a clue as to how many men are there

Absolutely horrific for the families left behind. Young folk doing what young people do best and enjoying life, just to be slaughtered by a madman. Makes no sense.

I'd guess the poor girl stabbed to death has Irish relations. Her full name was Grace O'Malley Kumar and her mum's called Sinead. Very sad for the families of all three people who lost their lives and those in hospital.

Either the courts and justice system needs to get stricter or this will just keep happening.
How come? What form of therapy for mentally ill people would the courts and justice system cover? Do you think mentally ill people will look at harsher punishments being handed down and think that maybe they shouldn’t go on a killing spree this time?
Personally, I’d like to see more money being spent on community mental health schemes, and funding the NHS properly so people who are mentally unwell can get treatment and stop them murdering people before they do.
The justice system is REactive, it has to be, you can’t punish people unless they’ve committed a crime. The health system is (or should be!) PROactive, stopping people from getting in the mindset that they need to kill.

When Putin attacked Ukraine in March 2022 we relied on the natural aggression of men to get up and go out and attack him right back.
Would you have preferred if they’d not reacted like that?
Will we tell young men to ignore their natural urge to respond to aggression and threat with aggression?
