He just posted the George Harrison "It's been done before" Simpsons clip.
Oh, and the words F*ck City.
Also the "put all your medals in the bin" Brian Clough at Leeds clip (from the flim with that Welsh fella), and something about cheating blue b*stards.
Can somebody who has a Twitter account please message the lads with this 😁
From the Leinster hurling final today

Richie Sadlier is coming back!
Presumably because their only income for the podcasts is from the world service members.
I don't mind Richie but since he's been gone, I haven't exactly been lamenting his return.
I like Miguel
I laughed at Ken telling Eoin that the Turks would be 'Looking greedily at you your scalp'
It does seem a bit mad that Ken flew back and is flying back out there again this week, I'd probably stay out there and have a few off between the games.
He does have a family to be fair, makes it slightly harder to justify going away for 7 or 8 days
Best was his description of the Inter forwards as something from a Grimm brothers fairytale with Lautoro being the dopey one. Excellent as always
Does Ken have kids? I don't know if it really matters but he never mentions them if he does whereas Eoin would often mention his. When you have listened to someone for over a decade, you feel like you should know ha.
This is the stuff you just don't get on other sports podcasts...top class.
"Respectfully Jamie, I think you're talking through your hole"
What's unfair about asking what a vague reference to "independent platform" means? The RTÉ show is recurring and is called Second Captains Saturday so to wave it off as a one-off, unrelated project doesn't make sense. Do you genuinely believe that being partnered with the national broadcaster and large corporations is no different to being funded by Patreon users?
That's just not the case though.
If anybody's body or mind is craving an additional portion of Marcotti, he was on off told the ball talking in great lengths about the man that once was Silvio Berlusconi.
Jamie decided at the start of the year that no matter what happens he won't entertain the idea that Limerick are a bit dirty.
Jamie talks some absolute shite at times
He didn't even listen to the point Mal was making (and tried to repeat for him) in relation to fatigue possibly being the reason for the chaos at the end of the Galway vs KK game.

Malachy correctly calling out Jamie on the absolute nonsense he was spouting today.
Jamie jumped over the fence today in relation to his Limerick analysis
Ha, just turned on the radio, thought okay, I'll catch the end of the football show. Just turned it straight back off again.
100%
Talking through his hole was right
I thought Jamie made some very cogent points which I have not seen anywhere else. There are multiple rucks in hurling where if we had the frame by frame replay, we could find frees all the time. It was only highlighted because it was the last play.
His point about Clare not fouling which allowed them to play the perfect balls into Gillane and how he roasted Cian Nolan was spot on. As he said, any decent forward would have scored 1-1 minimum off the quality of ball the Limerick forwards were getting. The Clare sideline left that happen same as missing frees, not fouling etc. This is his point, that the free at the end, contentious or not, should never have been the issue. They bottled the end of the first half - Ryan Taylor's choices, how Limerick took the sting out of the game to slow Clare down at the end of that half and only going in leading a goal when they should have been 6+ point ahead. They got overturned by a more seasoned team who always close it out. The free was incidental is his point and I 100% agree with him there.
Finally, it's nice to listen to a podcast where people have differing POV and talk it out properly as opposed to the bland shite that RTE pegged out on the day. Their coverage was truly awful.
The point about Clare agreeing to play the game in Limerick to save fans a bit of traffic was great too I thought.
No end of football season review from Ken? Team of the season etc. He usually does one iirc.
Eoin's signing off with the guests after the champions league final was very abrupt as well - "thanks for your contributions this season. Bye"
Maybe they plan to get them all back for a review soon.
Yeah malachy calling Wall out as talking through his hole was bang on..
If as a team you make a mistake you don't deserve a free.
Really enjoy listening to Gavin Cooney, has excellent knowledge of Irish football and comes across very easy going and seems fairly sound
