All this time we've been listening to the media purse clutching about Nazis and Fascists who we never actually see in the wild, and yet they ignore the extremism of the left that has entered our mainstream to a far greater degree.

Political violence and criminality in this country is an almost entirely left wing phenomenon, whether it's the gangsterism of terrorist groups like the drug dealing leftovers of the IRSP, Sinn Fein/IRAs links to gangsters like Gerry Hutch or the normalisation of violent gangs like Antifa by political parties with elected TDs in our parliament, not to mention their enthusiasm for foreign terrorist gropups like Hamas. The same political parties who act as mouthpieces for Vladimir Putins propaganda, including the current President, who, when not eulogizing dictators is using his office to support his wifes Putinist dribble.

Ordinary tax paying people on the right wish to conserve the social order and would have no truck with revolutionary lunacy. Yet, when we look at the left. who have the ear of the media, we realise that revolution and overthrow of our established order is exactly what they want.

Feel free to post the other dangers we see emerging from the left. It's important that they are documented.

I'm not interested in John 8:32; I'm alarmed by how death threats are being made against comedians in an attempt not only to threaten the comedians in question, but to create a wider chilling effect among other comedians that they can only make jokes about "approved" subjects.

This is what we mean when we talk about threats from the left - in this case, death threats.

Are you classifying the response to these threats as "victimisation" and "cry-bullying"?

Nobody should argue that threats only come from one side. Both sides can be extreme.

What's frustrating is that the far-left can rightly and correctly identify threats from the far-right, but that the far-left are - like the far-right - incapable of identifying threats from their own side.

This is a perfect example of that. Instead, all we get is whataboutery - what about this, what about that; but never what about the latest far-left attack on free society.

I think I would be more concerned if there were organisations making threats rather than individual nutters but I dont see this clarified in the article. The anonymous nature of letters and social posts make it detail to gauge how dangerous the threats are- but we can see in the murders of both left wing and right wing Politicians the UK in recent past that it is better to be safe than sorry.

I think there was a golden age in stand up comedy was after the the more conservative obscenity laws were mostly removed in the 90's to the last few years where the internet has been heavily involved in stoking up controversies related to at worst in bad taste jokes.
