The golf keeps me paying over the summer. Last Major is in July, PL back in August.
I think some of it is becaue a lot of people cancel over summer as they mainly get it for football, so it is to keep people on
I wonder if we are getting these emails today because their algorithms are detecting some of us are playing a blinder subscribing on and off at €10 p/m and want to lock us into paying medium term at €15 p/m 🙂
Similar situation but I tend to have it all year between the Soccer, F1 and NFL. €15/month is decent but had been on a streak of €10/month.
Will be interesting to see if it blocks any codes being applied within a month of the current renewal date.
I got the same email today I'm up in September, never got any email like that before. I've got Sports on and off for over year most months at €10 per month, the NFL would be the only reason why I would pay €15 for it depending on how much NFL Gamepass moving to DAZN will cost
I think you got lucky - I got the same prepaid offer and cancelled straight away, but mine is set to expire on July 5th. Hope you actually get the extra 3 months free, that's a great deal.
Yes there's usually offers just before the season kicks off and the first month of it.
Last year the shops were awash with the €15 NowTV sticks with the 1 month Sky Sports+1 Month Sports Extra, these are off the market now so maybe some similar voucher code.

Don’t think you’ll get much better than €15/20 a month unless they bring back the deal from last year which was something like 10 months for €120 up front iirc

The Sky Sports one is weird - I availed of a 3 months for €30 in April, due to expire 5 July which i was expecting was the next payment date. I went into myaccount to cancel it earlier and it's saying I'm on a prepaid offer until 5 October, which is the next payment due date when looking at upcoming payments. There's no €30 scheduled to be paid in July, which the email would indicate is what's going to happen.
So basically, according to my account, it would appear i've managed to get 6 months out of the €30 payment last April - anyone similar??

Current prepaid one is up in early August and they’ve sent me on this.

Ya. I didn't ask for a refund at the time, to be fair. Prorata I might have got €7 back but I'm not going to complain as I got a very helpful agent and now have the €1/month offer.

According to the person I was talking to you have to ask for a refund then and there or they won't provide one. I applied the €2 code originally and they refunded this. However I was prepaid up until the 1st of July with a code that came with the Now Stick and when I asked about this the agent agreed to refund €1 for those 3ish weeks lost. So it really just depends on who you get.

It seems that it depends on the CS person that you get.
I had a 3 months upfront offer so couldn't apply the €1/month code. I cancelled it myself online but it was still running until August. I contacted support via chat. I told them I got an email with an offer for €1 per month for 6 month and asked them to terminate my current pass so I could apply the offer. They did that no problem and the agent offered to stay on with me while I applied the code. Worked no probs. Only downside was there was no refund for the unused portion of the previous pass. But still works out way cheaper to cancel it and use the €1/month pass.
I got told some wishy washy story that there would be good offers when min ends in august. I tried to reply & the chat got "disconnected"
They said that I couldn't cancel & use the 1 euro offer.
