I think I'm too tired to fall asleep. Definitely a bit of a nip in the air too, I was tempted to put the heating on for an hour earlier but knew I'd be too warm in bed. I half this in-between weather, either be cool or warm ffs.

Dogsitting for the weekend. Not very techy. Would post a pic if I knew how to. She's a great dog.
The owner is getting rid of her. I would take her but I'm in an apartment with no garden. I think you really need a garden. I can't just open the door and let her out to go to the toilet. Also I'd need people to look after her when I'm away. It's not very practical. And a big responsibility.

I hate that saying, it's like the dog is a piece of old furniture or something that someone has got sick of. It's so sad for the poor old doggies to lose their homes and Humans 😔

Her owner is elderly and sick. I look after the dog a lot but can't commit to full ownership for various reasons. I will be heartbroken.

This might go down like a lead balloon here but in my opinion far too many people in this country have dogs who don’t look after them properly.
During the Covid lockdowns people went out and got dogs to occupy them/give them company/etc but after restrictions were lifted, the rescue centres/dog pounds were bursting at the seams. Utterly selfish to get a dog out of boredom and then “get rid of it” when taking care of the animal just doesn’t suit.
At my home office here today, about to finish up for the week shortly and head to the pool for a good swim.

Well my sunburn has turned to a tan. I was in the shops earlier and got talking to some stranger. Anyway he says what year did you arrive. I said arrive, I said I was born here. He then said so what year did your parents arrive. I said what are you talking about my parents were born here too. He said there wouldn't have been many of you people here back then. I said what the fúck are you on about. He said you're a black fella aren't you.
She's 11. I've been minding her since then.....gosh! She loves to chase cats and birds unfortunately.

I agree with JK about too many people getting dogs during Covid times and then dumping them afterwards. We got our Alfie then too but the difference for us is He is a member of our family and he’s going nowhere and I couldn’t even think of ever dumping him anywhere. Its breaking my heart that I won’t have much longer with him 😢
God, if she has to be rehomed now it will break all your hearts, and hers😭
Not necessarily as Alfie was 10 when he got him. His owner went into a nursing home and he was placed in the pound. It normally takes between 3-6 weeks for them to adjust and 3 months to settle into their new home.
Are those pigeons? I have them outside my window on a tree and everytime i open the curtains in the morning they fly to the tree and stare in. Don't they have binocular vision or something like that? Creepy little ****.
