Clerical Offcier 2023 open for everywhere except Dublin - which has its own panel from last year
details below
Message for meath today aswell
Just now I got the message to give them the location preference for Roscommon.Co, which is my second preference.
Go ahead and do your one for Longford and your Westmeath one should be out maybe next week 😊. Its just going alphabetically. It doesn’t mean they might call you for Longford first or anything 😊
Just wondering does everyone get an email about location of preference?
Got one for Longford too. 2nd choice. They want a response by Wednesday. Could my 1st choice -Westmeath-come up before then
yeah got mine for Longford there now 😊
Got a message for preference in Limerick just now.
Has anyone been called for interview yet?
Hey, I have an issue with my preferred location ... it's not my preferred location ... any way to change this now? Any advice welcome, thanks!
Interesting. This happened to me in 2020 or 2021 - can't remember which. They offered me a job far, far away. I told them I couldn't take it as if was indeed, far, far away. Then they said that was the job offer, there are no more and best of luck. I'm on a HSE panel now and can reject jobs as much as I want until the right one comes up. Although I've only gotten one offer in the past month based in Cork and I'm based in Wicklow so I had to decline that one because the commute would be a touch too long.
Yes that’s correct, very different system to the HSE
Just wondering how the selection works. With the hse they sent out what they available and you get to submit your interest and then it depends on your oom if you get selected. From the information booklet it looks like they have an availability and offer it to you in order of oom but if you don't accept then your off the panel. I'm not sure if they have read that wrong!
Hi, I’m just wondering if anyone knows what OOM was reached for limerick or Tipperary last year and would that help to gauge how many would be called this year. Thanks 😊
@shmeee thank you for that, that’s honestly a relief to hear that.
Just wondering if anyone got called for interview yet
They will always backpay. There appears to be an issue with the National Shared Services (NSSC) they are having many issues updating service. Hope you get your preferred location soon!
Flexi band 8am to 7pm then is it so? Earliest start is 8am, and latest finish is 7pm.
That line you said sounds familiar, came across it before somewhere. I don't think you'll actually end up having to work late.
“Our core Flexi is 5 so it’s not a place for a 8 – 4 or even sometimes a 9 – 5 so while you may not be in a traditionally late area it still requires the ability to work late”
Can you expand? 5?
Teacher will go in a point 1 if successful.
It's very rare you don't pass 12 month probation, unheard of some would say.
Hi guys, what does a core-flexi mean?
"Our core Flexi is 5" for example
Thanks. My cousin is thinking of switching. She was of the understanding that all time worked counted towards starting at a higher point. She's probably best to check it out officially
Start at the bottom, the two jobs aren’t comparable
Somebody may be able to answer this. If a primary school teacher transfers career to a clerical officer position, what happens in relation to what scale they commence on?
Not yet ,seems to be they did the first half of counties alphabetically and the next half soon
Nope! Not a thing! Did you hear anything?
Haven't heard from PAS since results of passing TCO interview for my county 6 weeks ago. Now that the permanent cos are starting to get appointed I wonder is it unlikely that I will get a tco contract this year.
@nhg thank you! That’s great to know
