I assume that the school brought in a temporary teacher to teach the classes Enoch used to have? Will they be in a position to permanently replace him this summer? My understanding is that there's now going to be an appeal against his dismissal. If that goes against him, can the school advertise his old job as a permanent position for a new teacher?
If that's the case (i.e. the school employs a brand new teacher on a permanent basis to fill the vacancy left by Enoch), does it make sense for him to turn up "to work" in September? He'd not just be asking the school to take him back but also to rip up the job contract for a new teacher.

I know her. I have not met her yet but I know of her and follow her on some social sites and she will have a show on Virgin One in a few months time. She is an amazing Woman. She has had to overcome so many obstacles in her life that she never shoud have had too.
As for the Burkes they are a waste of space the lot of them. They should be made clean up during all the Pride Parades in the Country so the rest of us can laugh at them.
89k at least now Enoch owes. I say he pays it or they lock him up and take whatever little assets he has. I would say the Mother and Father are complicit in his case too and the rest of the family as well. Maybe take all their assets too that shoukl cover the costs they/he owes and what it costs to keep him in prison.
Reinstatement into a job rarely happens even if found to have been unfairly dismissed. The employer-employee relationship has irretrievably broken down, certainly in Burke's case.

Though it was decided to dismiss him in January, it was stated he would still be paid up until at least April 21, which was the original date scheduled for the independant appeal of his dismissal.
Seeing as that independant appeal still hasn't gone ahead yet, (probably due to the delay by DPP over the criminal trespass charge, and Justice Owens delivering his ruling) they most likely still have to pay him.
The appeal is now scheduled for July 7.
Enoch has spoken... we can take it, he will be back in September.

You're talking about the real world there 😀 In the land of Burke it's harder to work out what they want out of this. If they were after a big payout why put themselves through the cost and trouble of having Enoch turn up every day "to work"? His actions so far have been akin to a small child putting his fingers in his ears and shouting la la la la to drown out reality. Outwardly, at least, he refuses to acknowledge that his job has gone and that they don't want him there.
And that's 100% a reason why this hate speech law is a pile of shyte. Those posters aren't hate speech. I'm not religious, I don't agree with the message, I think they are mad as hatters but no way that's inciting violence against gay people. And I'd stand by their right to protest as long as it's non-violent and not inciting violence.

So why mention the law then ? Seems a pretty simple inference.
My point is that the proposed law is so vague that they very well might find themselves afoul of the law - regardless of whether it's hate speech or not.
