Did they arrange them and send you?
if so its their responsibility.
Sent me for more tests, adding up to more than a grand, just hope airnav will cover those :/
Has anyone heard back since the medical.?
Congratulations to all who made it through. And all best to those who didnt make it this time.
A friend mentioned it. And yeah, the results came out today.
Were you on the interview panel or something.?
Heard results are coming out this week.
Anyone hear back yet?
Anyone took the final interview recently?
Anyone have any idea of starting salary once fully qualified?
If anyone is sick of waiting on ANI to recruit, NATS have a huge recruitment drive where their aim is to ramp up to over 100 new recruits yearly for 3-4 years.
Means working in UK, but, they still have the contract for Belfast, so you could always eye up a job there if you were that homesick.
seems to be fairly quick turn around with DART/FEAST tests also (8-12 weeks from application), but you go on a list then where you may not start training until next year... I think you can still apply 3 times also
So with final interviews being September time, educated guess for medicals would be November/December
Could anyone tell me when roughly would the medical would be, if one was successful in the final interview?
Express interest using the link below.

I would think there might be another one by the end of the year, possibly starting in November or December. Wouldn’t be 100% on it.
Does anyone know if a new recruitment competition may be anytime soon?
Congratulations Guys!
Wishing you all the best for September!!
Also passed :o
Hey all, I got my email to say I passed the group interview, buzzing tbh! I guess the wait until September for the final interview is because of how busy the summer months are?
Ah Sorry to hear. I was lucky enough to get through. Hope others here were also!
Results are out. Didn’t pass the group interview 😩
Hey guys,
Hope you are all well.
Did anyone take the recent Group Exercise (Interview) for Stage 3 of the selection process?
Please share your experience if you have.
Thanks!
Has anyone done done the group interview? Have mine in 2 weeks haven't a clue what to expect or how to prepare
Aye still waiting, I imagine we will hear soon enough
All quiet since this for everyone? The wait is killing me and we've still two rounds to go.
The group interview is a long established way to see how people interact with each other, the likes of NATS, Eurocontrol and Aer Lingus use it. In case anyone hasn't seen it, NATS have reopened their student atc applications
SCP19 didn't do group interviews due to COVID-19. It skipped to psychological interviews and then final interviews once the process restarted.
I'll just reply to myself here, latest update is group interviews are starting in May some time. Was there group interviews for the last intake? I always find it a dubious way of whittling down numbers. Interviewing 5 to ten people at once is always a weird vibe.
Anyone hear anything back since the work strengths profiling?
Correct. There is an SCP intake tenatively planned for every February for the next 10 years. However to my knowledge there are 2 classes due to start in 2023, with one just after starting (That I presume you are in? How are you finding it?) So maybe there will be another due to start in Sept/October that some of you are currently involved in recruitment for? I would suggest emailing your recruitment contact to inquire.
Staffing is a huge issue right now so it seems like measures are being taken to plan forward and have some costintency with regard to recruitment. But there's a huge lag time from day one to being a certified ATCO. In hindsight it was obvious the two covid SCP classes shouldn't have been let go. What can you do. Babysteps.
Those same staffing issues are why it is going to be a Feb intake by the way, instructors in the training centre are for the most part current rated controllers, and they can't be released during the busy summer months..due staffing issues...
Also my understanding is SCP classes will be increased from 14/16 to 20 people. And you get paid. (I didn't. Promise I won't hold that against you. Maybe.)
Good luck all, it's a rewarding career.
