Just at home after being out for most of the day with work and other stuff and taking it easy now but i think my vitamin D levels are topped up which is always nice. :D
Booked a days annual leave just before I finished today, taking full advantage of the gorgeous evening and the fact that I'm not driving in the morning. One of my friends just rang to arrange meeting up for lunch tomorrow and another for a walk and 'a drink ' in the afternoon, that means no housework as I had planned. ☺️😁

We have this wonderful tool called Flight Data Monitoring. It records a myriad of parameters including time from 50 feet to landing. So if a crew tries for a nice soft landing they can find themselves exceeding that time and getting a warning letter. So its much better career wise to hit the ground with a thump.
If i was to land like both my flights today, I would be fired.
2nd flight was so much better than Ryanair.
Trying to help an elderly relative decide what they will want to eat later in the week when we all go to the Asian restaurant with our extended family to celebrate an occasion …… they’ve become notoriously picky in their senior portion of their life… as to what they eat…..Asian isn’t their first choice or usually any choice really but doing this tonight might just save time, save the waiting staff from contemplating resigning or suicide from the myriad of questions about sauces, flavours, spices, and cooking techniques…. “ wonder if i could just get a chipper and sneak it in “ is one of their wry suggestions…… so after all that…beef chow mein for them… chicken pad Thai for me…. 😶🌫️😋 my “ just get what you had last time, you loved that ! “ might have been advice i proffered 20 minutes earlier in the conversation but… 😂
I doubt Blue‘s landings would be much worse than some of the actual landings I’ve had with Ryanair, or indeed my last two landings with Lufthansa for that matter…
