Just opened today! Anyone know what percentage of job offers are based outside Dublin just out of curiosity?
Yes. It's evenly structured between the two interviewers. Although, they merge specialist knowledge and drive and commitment into one competency.
Thanks
Does anyone know how it works if you are on point 10 of CO payscale and have been placed as an EO, do you jump to 10 of EO payscale Plus 1 or 2?
Thanks In Advance
Had my interview today, was tough in parts, some unexpected questions, grilled me on areas of my competencies and couldn't complete the full STAR answer as they cut across. Just threw everything I could at it.
What is the pass rate or likelihood of passing the interview?
If you are currently on point 10 of the Co scale then you will be placed on point 5 of the EO scale
20 to pass marked out of 50, sounds similar to my interview few wks ago. Have been through clearance and a start date two wks away! Batch 9 interdepartmental
@benji27 I am also in batch 9 and passed clearance. Do you mind me asking roughly what OOM you are? Just trying to gauge how long more I will be waiting to get assigned.
sorry just realised you said interdepartmental
They are into the 40’s now I know someone in the 40’s has been given a start date!
Had my interview this morning and it went well. They said 2-3 weeks for results. Was anyone quicker than that?
Heard in 1 week
Has anyone been placed recently in Mayo? Just trying to figure out how long ppl are waiting to get offers. TIA
You can email pas and ask them
How long does PAS normally take to get back?
Within a day or two
For me whenever I emailed them it's a same day reply. Just make sure u email the email address associated with the campaign
This rule no longer applies. It has been replaced with the location selection form..only if you’re offered a position outside of your selected areas can you decline and still remain on the panel
Had my interview last Wednesday, feel like it went well. Does anyone out there have a close time frame to find out the results???
How long after expression of interest do u get called for interview
Usually a few days to a week.
Has anyone had trouble getting a reference from a previous Department, if so would you have any advice on how to speed up the process. PAS had emailed them over a week ago and again this week but no reply and as far a I know the reference has to come from the HR within that department not a HEO.
In my experience, PAS asked HR for a reference and HR emailed my HEO who provided the actual reference that HR fed back to PAS.
I didn't, in my case, have any trouble with my reference but hopefully that helps you follow the chain to chase yours up.
Hi, would anyone know if you offered the Department of Justice where can you be placed
The reference will come from HR, and is based on your service record with that department. From experience, my HEO wasn't informed that I was on a panel, nor were they asked for a reference. As I was being kept in the same department, it was only when I was officially assigned that my HEO was informed.
Thank you both that’s very helpful…do either of you know if the HR were fast with the reference?.
As my dept wanted to keep me they sent the reference quickly.
Might be no harm following up on it.
If your current Dept wants to keep you do they contact PAS directly or do you advise PAS and then they confirm with them?
HR contacts PAS directly to put a tag on you.
My experience was PAS letting my local HR know I was successful and HR contacted my AP to ask me if I wanted to move or stay in the department. I discussed with my PO were the likely openings were (none in the section I was in) and I opted to move department and HR informed PAS
@Babatunde did you get placed in Clare?
Do PAS check your sick leave when checking references or is that done by the HR section of the department you're assigned to?
