They were much more non-eejity when they boycotted the shop 5 years ago over the cost of a chicken roll.

The Irish Times as of now is slightly to the right economically but it is culturally liberal and to the left and can be seen as such by anyone who follows their editorial policy. Didn't they print a nonsense piece lately manufactured by AI which stated that fake tan of all things was "problematic"in a rush to be more woke than their competitors... That backfired on them thankfully, when any editor worth his salt would have binned it after reading the first few lines, and this is the organ that would have provided leading questions to skew a poll in this direction???
