I can't believe that a Slane Harry Styles concert is dominating the gig and events forum, it gives me an oul queasy feeling.

Well, he certainly wouldn't be my cup of tea. Whatever about his look (Smacks more of a deliberate attempt to distance himself from One Direction to me but hey), his sound is pretty forgettable. Nothing wrong with it, just not very interesting. Nothing to differentiate him from a dozen others.
But then, I'm not the target demographic by a long shot and there is no doubt he's huge. I'm trying to think of a solo male act that's as popular at the moment. Sheeran I suppose. So the kids like him and I'm sure they'll have their fun. Sneaking on a few WKDs on the bus, spend seemingly 3 days on the bus with no bathroom, knock back a naggin before they go through security, throw it up. scream themselves stupid and then passout for the 14 hour bus journey home :) For many, it'll be their first concert. For most, it'll be their first Slane so I hope they have their fun

A great lineup, baffling that The Verve were the headliners as they only had a couple of hits and The Manics were still at their peak then.
