My understanding is he met Matthew when he was around 10 and at The two face theatre company. He followed the kid on social media since he was 15. The day that he "came out" I watched it and thought this guy is hiding something else and sure enough it turns out he had been in a relationship with an 18 year old that he met when he was 12 and followed on social media from the age of 15. He had gotten this lad a job in ITV as a runner. This is not normal behaviour but now, given all that has happened in the last week I really think there is a sh1t storm brewing about this creep. The weekend papers will be very interesting. If it turns out that he was taking advantage of young people and others at ITV knew then I hope the rest of them follow him out the door and that charges are brought against the whole lot of them.

I never liked Schofield, even before all this. He just came across like a fake, especially the PR stunt involving him coming out. As said above, his wife and kids deserve the sympathy.
Is this going to be the end of his career I wonder, or is he going to get another chance on GB News or wherever?
