According to various sources right now in Belgorod the Russians are blowing their own bridges to try and stop the advances and Russian civilians are either evacuating or trying to get into air raid shelters!
I think it's clever.
Hard to a defensive line, expecting an attack when explosions and sh1t is happening behind you.
helicopter down, maybe this was a trap?
The door padlocked and your man pulling away as if he's the hulk. Padlocks would be fairly useless if thats all it took to break them.
no, because NATO should be dissolved, remember?
Because they wouldn't have fired the missiles otherwise???
Will Putin and his propaganda not use this to mobilize more people as this is an attack to Russia? Attack by Russians themselves, but attack never less. Dmitriy The Clown-Medvedev will probably suggest to nuke Belgorod.
Probably can expect a seriously massive wave of missile strikes in the next few nights as retaliation for this border incident.
I bet the US are not best pleased with this kind of carry on.
A padlock that could be snapped by two spanners in 2 minutes flat... 🤣
Eh?
when was there ever anything dropped on actual military targets by this clown army? They seem to specialize in mass killing of civilians.
Honestly don't know what to make of Belgograd but a thought just occurred to me. Russia in the last year has taken 10s of thousands of men directly out of prisons, murderers, rapists, car thieves, burglars, pimps, armed robbers and general scum. Those men in their thousands have been given AK47s, ammunition, grenades and a little training, and are being sent to a meatgrinder. They are probably assembling in Russian cities close to the Ukrainian border before being sent into that meatgrinder. Patriotism and sense of duty is probably not high on the list of characteristics of your average murderer or rapist, but self preservation might be.
This insurgency Belgorod is quite interesting. I wonder is it going to lead to anything serious for the Russians or will they be able to stamp it out quickly. Either way it will drain resources from the front line as it can't be tolerated and could spread to other regions.
Putin has a history of dropping much worse than flares on his own people...he will kill each and every Russian if he feels threatened.
A few weeks ago I asked about the counter offensive and wondering why it was being telegraphed so much. I didn't have insurgency in Belgorod on the potential plan list.
Russia have to defend that no matter what. Losing a city like that will not be tolerated by Russians and will also reveal to Russian occupied Ukraine that theres a heirachy of Russian. You're not as Russian as Belgorod.
Exactly how & why? Please explain. Their single ICBM is either disabled in flight or lands and causes utter misery somewhere. What then?
There could be very serious consequences for some Russian infrastructure and cities.
Can't see the Chinese getting involved in that scenario or other states that are lukewarm to Putin.
We've been over this ground before...
Not yet...
Not according to draken or the Dutch government nor was it posted by Reuters (Kremlin media??)
What ever steps the Ukrainian military take, I'd trust their judgement 100% they are the best people to make decisions, as they are on the ground. Now lets see how the Russians get on holding it. There's something wrong there when Prigozhin wants to pull out, and hand it over to the Russian regular army,,, his hour of glory, and he want's out???
Draken order is cancelled.

This was already done to death by others (and yourself...) so won't drone on. I don't disagree with you at all that it is complex and I don't have expertise to know, even guess how long it could take, whether the more pessimistic or optimistic timings are right.
However I do believe comparing it with peace time no rush/no pressure transition of an airforce over to new equipment is a mistake. It will be a crash programme, with a lot more effort and urgency put into it (from both Ukraine and its backers) + some corners will be lopped off if need be to deliver it faster.
On the ex Soviet aircraft suiting tactics, again have severe doubts now after what happened during this this war that anything their (+ the much diminished post Soviet Russian) MIC produced is so much better for any job than Western stuff. So F16s or any current Western fighters are likely to be a giant upgrade + a big benefit for Ukraine if/when they get them up & running.
Grammar Nazism
It had to be me 😳
Russians going rouge, yesterday

Missles!
Oh the missles! Havent heard about them for a while now.
Rouge!
There own.
Your instead of you're.
Not very good English teaching in Langley. Or perhaps Russia?
That's the one ,
Sure there was people telling us 10 years ago that it was Ukraines fault for the initial invasion of eastern ukraine
Last thing ukraine needs is forces going rogue and doing there own thing on Russian soil because Ukrainians will be put at risk trying to save there asses
Isn't that the guy kidnapped off an Irish commercial airliner illegally hi-jacked by the Belarusians.
I remember about 2 years before the Ukrainian invasion some of the clowns on this site defending the right of Belarus to endanger a Ryanair flight.
Presumably the point isn't to actually hold ground but to give Ukrainian troops a morale boost while distracting Russian forces and hopefully sowing dissent among the civilian population of Russia.
