Wouldn't agree there. Second best most of the game and never got a hold of the game or dictated it. Some of the hurling was poor enough, with aimless long balls and basic skills lacking.
We did draw level with Clare on a few occasions in the second half, but of course we then handed them the initiative all over again. I don't think Cork were second best for most of the game at all, but we do need to see a hugely improved performance against Limerick though.

at least we know what we need to do in Limerick, no relying on other results. We may go out early but I'd take a cut throat Munster championship over the challenge games they're playing in Leinster.

Limerick will beat Cork. I just can't see how Cork are going to win? Really can't in the Gaelic Grounds. They should have made sure they won today. They won't win next week. I hope I'm wrong but Cork hurling over the last 18 years has disappointed us many a time.
Cork got exactly the same result against Tipperary as Limerick did. They both lost by a point or so to Clare. There'll be little in it.
If Wexford are relegated I'd say something will have to give in terms of the championship format.

i heard ex clare hurler and radio pundit Tommy Guilfoyle was on one of the local Cork radio stations last week doing a pre view for todays game , he highlighted corks weakness in the full back line and was surprised with the reaction he got from the cork pundits
he obiously had very little homework done before the pre view as it was the first thing pat ryan fixed months ago after he took over
it was nearly the wining of the game for ye today , in fairness we really struggled against o donohue and niall o'leary today , granted kelly had a bit of a field day in the first half but there was a point in the second half where i taught we were not going to score again
taught Brian Roche was very impressive at times today , and horgan justified his own talk of still being the best forward in the county with 1-4 from play
i agree it wasnt the greatest game in the world today but the limerick tipp game was no better , limerick were more wasteful then us and they are starting to look tired team now , some of their main players only look a shadow of last years form , i am saying its advantage cork next week i think ye will do enough
