I'm abroad Jun 17-25 and my delivery date is Jun 12-27. My luck I will get delivery while I'm abroad. I don't have the option of someone else collecting car. If I get a delivery date of say Jun 19th will they push back to Jun 26th?
Got the registration. Insurance sorted now and all. Done online with aviva. No change. Roll on Tuesday 😀
Did you have to upload proof of insurance via the website also?

Go to sales page, chat to an agent, ask for refund under distance selling regulations, will be in your account in a week. You will need your order number to hand.

Thanks - looked like you just saved me €1,858 and got me a free tow hitch on a MYLR White/Black which just popped up with a discount of €3,310!
VIN already assigned and asking for proof in insurance (which I know is not required, but I haven't had the request on either on my previous two MYLR orders).
Here's hoping it's not just another discount error..!
Out of interest, Rob, what was the original EDD range that you were given? Which model are you getting?
Mine is a MY RWD with EDD of 12-27 June, but with SEAI grant document to sign on Monday, then VIN appears this morning and now they're looking for payment, things seem to me moving quickly. I'm wondering if I pay up by Monday will I be getting a collection date ahead of the EDD?

Let me guess. When you log into your account, does the price say €52081 on the website or something higher like €56k or so? Then then you go to pay, is the price again different?
If so, I've seen this before and Tesla will likely cancel it on you.

I have the exact same car with the same discount, ordered on Monday (nobody else saw the discount because my app was not released yet and I ordered instantly), and I just got a message today to book collection next week. I was already told a few days ago that the car is in Dublin, so I can expect collection soon. There's a big chance yours is already in Dublin too, not on the boat with the others.
I am missing the SEAI grant on the account though, and was in Sandyford today to ask about it. They raised it with their finance team and they reckon it should be resolved Monday afternoon. They say I should just pay the balance assuming 5k for the grant. I am really nervous about them cancelling it again after the firesale experience... so I am not really sure if I should pay or wait a few more days for the "finance" team to get involved. I am afraid they'll cancel it then I will not be able to pay for my backup order due next month since refunds take so long. I would sort of have to start the 10k daily payments now to finish paying in time, otherwise a trip to the bank is needed and time will be tight.
Yeah I'm fairly prepared for it to be a glitch to be honest. My order agreement PDF says €52,081.63. The "price to pay" on the account is €56,830.78 but does not have the €5,000 SEAI grant taken into account.
I still have an active inventory order for the same car, minus the tow hitch, with EDD 19th May to 3rd June so that's the fall back.
Actually, did anyone from the firesale with a cancelled order manage to transfer the money paid to another order? Or is there anyone that was not able to pay for the other order and lost the car?
Generally they won’t transfer but refund and then you pay towards the new car. That’s my experience.

I'd have the same concerns as you - if the funds are tied up with a long delay in refund in case of an error on Tesla end, could end up with no car before SEAI grant change 🙈
I have my own existing car sold and going to its new home next Tuesday so I am in a pickle 🥒
I think you have answered your own questions. Much better to wait until you hear back from their finance team, given all the uncertainty.and if their answer is jsut about the SEAI you might be well advised to raise specifically the discount and get them to confirm. A trip to the Bank to make payment in one go is a small price to pay rather than potentially get involved with timing delays. I wish you well with it all
I know last quarter there was at least one person on here that managed to get a discounted car, including the SEAI grant. So there is definitely hope. It might be that they are discounting cars that sit around for a while without being collected, especially those with things like a tow hitch that puts it just over the grant limit. But at the same time I am also fully prepared it might be a glitch, so I think I'm just going to wait and pay as late as possible.. Would be great if a human could actually look at the order and just decide if it's a glitch or not, but that seems impossible with Tesla.

No link for payment though and I assume that's because I've a trade in. Logic would dictate that you can't pay in full unless we know what the trade in is worth
Best to know but you can transfer money to their account using your RN as the reference and it will be there next working day.
Guys, should I be a bit concerned? M3 RWD ordered - No hidden VIN, no visible VIN on app. Was on chat to Tesla, all they could tell me was boat has left China and has not arrived to Ireland yet. Couldn't tell me where the boat is located currently. No VIN assigned to my account. Ordered mid-May with an EDD of 12-27 June. Anybody in the same boat (pun intended)?

Sometimes it’s worse that Tesla give this info to orders as it creates confusion.
