Finally reached the top of Maslows Hierarchy of needs, making my ultimate dream come true at 35 years of age with my dream career that I've worked forever at, what age did you feel self actualised and what was it that made you feel that way?
Explain what 'self actualisation ' is please?
Is it self awareness? Feeling fulfillment? Feeling enlightened? Content? Some achievement?
I feel slightly numb atm not sure if it's awareness, full, content or just don't give a **** or bla...
Apologies, Maslow’s hierarchy of needs is a motivational theory in psychology comprising a five-tier model of human needs, often depicted as hierarchical levels within a pyramid.
From the bottom of the hierarchy upwards, the needs are: physiological (food and clothing), safety (job security), love and belonging needs (friendship), esteem (respect, self-esteem), and self-actualization (desire to become the most that one can be, experience purpose, meaning and inner potential).
Needs lower down in the hierarchy must be satisfied before individuals can attend to higher needs.
Thanks for clearing that up. So can people still reach this 'self actualization' level even if they stomp on other people's needs to reach this target ?
There is a level above this. Transcendental.
Ill take you there superbowser...if you want lol 😂
When do you get passed this level op? ...please tell me how to overcome this level ..cause I'm sick of it tbh ..
What a crapy cheap video with awefull noise. Not even a song it's just one of them talking with noise in the background utter rubbish it is.
As for this nonsense the OP is on about I think S/he or they need to come down from whatever drugs they are on.
More than likely just a Troll anyway.
No
I don't care what you say because I've already achieved self actualization twice today which makes me immune to your nit picking about u2s song and video and gives me a fresh rosy glow 😊
You've only achieved the best version of your life if you stop developing and reaching in any area of your life. You don't stagnate at 35, it's a lifelong journey or you sell yourself short. I'm not talking just about careers here, obviously.
I don't think I'll ever fully reach my potential, life is a work in progress.
But I bet once you get to that level, there is another level after that. 😁
Is this the scientology forum?
Hail Xenu!
Sounds like some needs their Thetan level checked.
You become one with everything (without the use of drugs ) The piper at the gates of dawn.
Isn't that what the Buddisht said to the hot dog vendor? "Make me one with everything"?
Unless you're posting from a different timezone, I think we can all guess what lead to your self actualization nirvana at 1.42 am on a Friday night..
Yes, and when the Buddhist asked for his change, the vendor said "change has to come from within"😀!
