First want to try and pick something new from inventory. Otherwise I will probably change colour to something else.
I was told late May / Early June for that delivery window.
I spoke with Tesla Dublin today. The nice lady said that my car RN1183471.. "will come" this Friday. She also said she doesn't know which vessel it is on (which I don't believe) but the invoice will be ready for me in 48 hours she said so I think they will issue it straight after the car is delivered.
In my opinion I will have MYLR (white/black) ready for collection in the app range (19.05 - 03.06).
He even gave me my VIN and VIN can only be assigned once the ship crosses Suez canal. May be he meant ship is close to reaching belgium
Folks, whats your expectations about EDD and price of new project highland model 3. Considering its going into production in US in Sep'23 and China in Dec'23, I do not expect it to reach Dublin by June 2024. I want to ensure we dont get the old model M3 in June and the new version arrives dublin in Sep'23. I'd rather wait till Sep in that case
Most likely the date for departure was accurate and the car was on its way to Zeebrugge. If you have an assigned VIN there is a car assigned to you.. Forget what you hear about Suez canal, allocation of VIN has nothing to do with geography and reference to Suez has its origins in VINS usually being allocated around 2 weeks after leaving China but in recent times this pattern is not reliable as many have got VINs immediately after placing order.
I see also your comment about new Model 3 "Highlander" and when this will be available. There is no definitive answer to this question but it is highly unlikely that you would have one of these in September.. I suggest that if you are happy with the car (and its current pricing) you collect your car once allcoated or alternatively if its going to bother you, cancel and take your chances for new model once available but you will expose yourself to uncertainty about both price and availability
Using your numbers it can’t arrive in June 23 if it’s only going into production in December 23. Unless they’ve teamed uk with DeLorean.
Donedeal probably your best bet. You’ll shift it in less than a week if it’s keenly priced.
He's picking up a Long range. bargain for someone if you can push another bit, might take 46/45 especially with an impending LR. Brand new car, no need to deal with Tesla....
obviously you are 2nd owner but really I wouldn't say thats an issue for a potential buyer in a few years unless I saw a load of previous owners. I think a garage will snap it up to sell it on.
The more I think about it, lets say he did take 1/2k less at 46/45k (if he gets it) he's then looking at 8/9k to change up and that to a white LR. After doing 6k km's in my RWD I cannot see the value in that. Each to their own & I must admit I had concerns before purchasing regards range etc but thats been more than but to bed.
Expected starting price in US for highlander M3 RWD is 45K USD which will translate into 47-48K Eur in Ireland (using Model Y price comparisons in US vs Ireland off-set by US rebates vs Ireland rebates). 1 year fuel cost will bring this to 50K Eur, hence we're talking about a gap of 50K-40K= 10K Eur at the moment though eventually this gap will reduce as tesla keep dropping its prices
Picked up the car on Tuesday. Granted I have done very limited driving but keep getting "Park assist unavailable" and "Autopilot cameras unavailable" messages every time I get into the car.
Has anyone experienced similar?
This can happen when the side pillar cameras are obscured - this might be due to dirt, rain or actually more likely in times in very sunny days the sun shine can impact it. If it doesnt stop perhaps try restart via holding down both scroll wheels
As per the many other posts if you search, try a factory reset.
settings,
safety,
factory reset.
Have it up for 25800, was 39 last year, nobody biting !
All speculative....pricing with Tesla is always kept a closed secret and flexes based on supply and demand ..multiple examples of this over the last 6 months! Comaprisons between countries is meaningless and unreliable.
Whats this?
Nissan Leaf
Did you try Zucar?
Zucar get an A+ for convenience but they're worse than the tesla trade-in for prices
Maybe try the dealer you bought it from to buy it back for used stock ?
Starting to think they’re not going to be hitting that estimated 19th May delivery date. …
The estimated delivery date is usually a range of dates so their plan is to make a delivery date somewhere between those 2 dates rather than one specific date...
Is tomorrow the date you were given by tesla for collection from Baldonnel or is it part of a range of dates?
Dunno. There's a RoRo called Hermine due in from Zeebrugge to Dublin Port today.
Looks like this is a vehicle transporter. Fingers crossed.

Tried them, brutal offer ,
Sorry might have replied to wrong post, selling nissan leaf 221 SVE for 25800
I see my local dealer is trying to flog second hand 40kWh models for 24k so your pricing doesn't seem extreme... The dealer is way overpriced mind...
14k depreciation in a year? Yikes
Might as well keep it no? Why are you selling?
Is it the 62kWh or 40?
Does anyone have any idea about the couple of Model Ys in inventory that have tiny extra discounts?
Like €100 or €220 showroom discount. What's the point?
Sold as "new", not ex demo, so no idea what that's about.
Folks. What is the best phone number to get to speak to a human in Dublin Tesla? Thanks.
Has anyone got an update for deliveries happening in June? M3 RWD specific.
