People quoting the Russian defence ministry, that's what you get!
You would think people know better.
Russian defence ministry?
are the russian defence ministry fabricating videos of air defence operation from inside Kyiv now?
No clue what you're going on about.
I'm talking about the Russian defence ministry claiming to have destroyed more himars than were delivered to Ukraine.
People are still quoting Russian defence ministry on this thread.
Terrible when people claimed for months and months about unstoppable missles,
Still going on about unstoppable missles .
Reminds me of ratios that oh we don't talk about ratios on here,
Ohhh why
And he mistakenly believed like lots of others that the West was weak and in decline, how wrong he was. The unity and strength and global reach of the West has even surprised the Chinese. With the West not only consisting of Europe and US but also the huge Asian economies of Japan and S Korea along with Australia and NZ.
Probably the mistake before the Ukraine invasion was that the West was too reluctant to show its teeth. Maybe if those teeth had been shown to Putin beforehand this invasion would never have happen. In contrast Russia loved to show off all its military hardware every year, now we have found that alot of this was just junk. Putin all his life being the hard man is unable to process that he is losing the war in Ukraine and needs to get out
It might be a case of plan A and plan B: If it goes well keep pushing, if not retreat from Bakhmut.
This was always been the case if only 10 years ago they stood up to putin then we we wouldn't be talking about the ongoing invasion of Ukraine
Donetsk
Don't make him angry.
This is what 'more ammunition' means
Apparently they're sending SCALP as well, wonder if its the naval version?
@correct horse battery staple
Good points, absolute power corrupts absolutely, and fascists never learned their history
Fascists may learn their history as well as anyone else. The main problem would be that they let their ego/warped worldview talk them into the idea that the same actions will somehow yield different results.
Nick Ferrari is rage bait, he's to LBC what Stephen Nolan is to BBC NI. I wouldn't pay much attention.
These are the French variation of the Storm Shadow correct?
Some places suggesting longer range - up to 560km, but not finding much info about them
I keep hearing military pundits saying it will be very difficult for Ukraine to reclaim Crimea, but I don't understand why?
If they get to the sea of Azov the only way Russia can supply Crimea and the rest of its army West of wherever Ukraine reaches the sea of Azov would be either: -
1, Through the Kerch bridge, which is a sitting duck.
2, By ship, though Ukraine now has missiles to sink these ships.
3, By air, but there's no way they could get enough supplies through with their air force.
Ukraine doesn't actually have to beat the Russian army to get them out of Crimea, they can starve them out.
I can only really see a very big, humiliating defeat for Russia coming, and depending on how that turns out it could be a good thing or a very bad thing.
Is there a flaw in this logic and that's why no one has mentioned it, or everyone knows it but doesn't want to tell the Russians?
Bucha then and now
I thought it was well balanced, if not leaning towards keeping support for Ukraine... he's very much a supporter of them. Some interesting calls though, some Russian girl who went full boards troll of whataboutism...even mentioned Iraq, was quite funny. Also a bit unusual they go back to a topic like that, obviously ruffled a lot of feathers.
Meanwhile Russia
Then and now
Just to add to this... it did show the main point of division.... funding...
People think the NHS loses out and cost of living goes up if the UK keeps funding Ukraine...
Not the case.
If sanctions stay in place, Russia start paying for Ukraine's militarisation and eventual re-building as frozen assets start to yield dividends (which they have started to do).
Extraordinary footage (on board and then external) of Ukrainian kamikaze FPV drones attacking Russian BMPs.
So did Russia actually destory a patriot air defense system ? heartnreaking if true
Probably the same reason we don't talk about the 'other' types of gas Ukraine were purportedly using.
Is it a month already
Something got hit last night, nobody seems to be sure what or whatever was hit is been kept very much quite
Whats the naval version ?
That video is insane.
Firstly there is a huge breach of opsec there. Judging by the adjacent explosions, the Russians knew where the Patriot battery was located and that was the target of the missile attack last night.
Whether any launchers were destroyed is impossible to tell from that video. What's crazy is the sheer amount of missiles that have been fired in just one video, I counted 30 of them and each one apparently costs $3m a pop.
Guess the question is which side runs out of missiles first?
Hmm, the sanctioned country with the GDP of Italy, or a collection of the world's strongest economies. I'm guessing the former will run out first ;)
lol at the po faced edit there, was blackly funny seeing the evolved "man of peace" (vs "warmongers" on the thread) getting excited by video of something exploding violently in Ukraine + a potential Russian military success.
Unfortunately either way there is not an unlimited supply of air defense missles especially not patriots ,
PAC 3 patriot missiles were in attendance, so Ukraine do have them.
As for the claim that everything was shot down by AA last night, well we saw that previous video with the (presumed) patriot battery launches, now there is another view from Kyiv showing 2 very strong explosions also.
Nothing to confirm that they were kinzhals however.
