Yes but I think there is a 4 month limit for delivery of the car after application is there not?
Account website is back up with the same June 13-June 28 EDD that I always had
SEAI terms are that grant.. once "approved" remains valid for 4 months. however Tesla usually only apply for the grant under a framework agreement on behalf of the customer a few days before delivery
Likewise, 12-27 June is still on show for me.

Strange that a lot of the 13-28s don't even have hidden VIN. I have a hidden VIN pretty much from the order date and EDD 12-27 June. All seems to be some sort of Tesla luck of the draw!

Yes but the signing of the form occurs months before the framework agreement if grant application ;)

In my case I think it's because I've another car to trade-in, it's the only thing really that I'm doing that not many others are
Checked email there and no sign of docs for grant… then checked spam and there it was.. EDD 12-27 June…
Precisely - I have highlighted this to Finance Ireland and asked them to confirm Tesla are aware of and in agreement of this change - threatened cancelling the order on foot of this - we'll see if they are bothered or maybe they will be relieved not to be financing Teslas after all!!!
Also got the "sign grant" email - and have just done so.
Got that tingly buzz of excitement, especially when I read this in the account information section :
"Tesla will apply for your SEAI grant on your behalf once your VIN is available. The SLA from the SEAI is up to 15 working days for EV grant approval and letter of offer".
But still no VIN.
Anyhoo.... no point in getting stressed about it, that won't make car arrive any more quickly. I've been waiting since February, and guessing that I'll have at least another month to go!
I've also done the same. It's a nonsense making such a fundamental change without contacting people.
My window is due to open on Friday too so is way too close for this messing.
Is this for new PCP agreements going forward only. If you have been approved for PCP financing before today how are you affected?
Thats the impression I get from their mail. However, it was following an enquiry from me re repayment amounts based on a couple of different deposit figures. They have asked which one I want to go ahead on and they will update the Tesla portal - so perhaps if I dont change anything the original would have to stand?
Is there a possibility here that these cars are further delayed and will miss the grant if they don’t get the approvals sorted with SEAI in the next few weeks ? This would ensure the full €5K grant will apply as long as the cars turn up in the next 4 months. Otherwise they risk mass cancellations for cars that arrive late and end up costing €1500 more.

Quick ask to the others out there who had the revenue issue with M3 LRs (and maybe MY), are you still down to collect on the 31st of May, I thought they would have brought this forward as it's seemingly sorted from the other posts on here but no word yet. Have any of you paid for it in full ? I have paid half and just hate the idea of another issue and having fully paid. Thanks.
I'm just filing up the SEAI grant application and there's a question - 'In case of tenant/ resident have you secured permission from the property owner to allow SEAI access to your electricity consumption' - Bit confused here and not sure if it should be Yes or No.
What did ye all do for this?
This is just looking for confirmation that you (if you are not the property owner) have secured consent from property owner to share usage information with SEAI. If you own the property it is not relevant and if you don’t it seems straight forward. I expect most who are not property owners respond positively to this question.
Back to this 😃 so what can we expect next after SEAI emails yesterday!

Yes there is a very strong chance of this happening if the delivery date is after the latest promised 28th June. If that happens a more expensive car from inventory could be more worthwhile. I went for the bog standard RWD standard range in white but see there's a black one coming soon in inventory for 2k more, that equates to €500 more in real terms...
There is also a strong possibility that Tesla will again cut the price of their cars, possibly by €1,500
In short, don't worry about it, what will happen will happen regardless of you worrying about it or not

The most comprehensive pre delivery checklist ive seen is this one. I plan to use it for my collection.

Loads of high quality pics, all around the car, incl close ups, interior, under car etc. Makes it easier if you notice any defects when home.
Otherwise check all the obvious, cables etc.
