I have an email from echosign@echosign.com in my spam email
Has all the makings of a scam email saying Natalie Verrall requests "my" signature on SEAI GRANT
Be wary folks
Possible sign of a hacker in the tesla data centres?
SEAI e-mail just came through
Folks
BE WARY - THOSE EMAILS MIGHT NOT BE FROM SEAI
Legit on this occasion I would say. nverrall in copy.
What makes you say that? Looks seriously dodgy to me...
Do share your thoughts so we can all learn. What about it looks dodgy?
Just got the confirmation email with attached official SEAI paperwork. Looks legit.
By default, all the emails sent from E-Sign are sent from echosign@echosign.com. The sender receives responses directly to his/her mail however. In this instance nverrall.
A chap on the Irish Tesla Owners Facebook group was told by Sandyford that his car is in Antwerp (presumably storage neat Zeebrugge?). EDD of 19 May - 3 June so as suspected most likely arrived on Grand Champion.
Few things make me very suspicious about the one I got, others might have gotten differently
1) Straight into my spam email inbox
2) From an email address other than @tesla.com or @SEAI.ie
3) Echosign is a retired brand, it is now "Adobe Acrobat Sign"
4) Natalie Verrall is requesting the signature, a quick google gives some facebook, instagram, twitter and myspace results for that name
How was this communicated to you?
Via email?
What address was the confirmation email from?
Just got mine too. Definitely legit
This
How do you know it was legit?
So the same email address that I mentioned earlier?
When I got my car charger the confirmation came from evchargers@mail.seai.ie, so my thinking is that all grant notifications should be routed through an address ending in @mail.seai.ie
Yes
But Tesla handle the vehicle grant directly?
Charger grant is typically handled by the customer directly.
Anyway, open as you see fit. There's a follow-up audit trail and confirmation. Legit to me.
No - made an enquiry about adjusting the deposit - looked for a couple of figures and they came back with figures but with note that GMFV had moved. I have a MYLR on order, standard car @ 53,940 and they have revised GMFV in 3 yrs time from €23,733 in original quote to €20,497.
feels like final straw for me - perhaps wait until next year!
That's just ridiculous... There is a 3 year old M3 on the Tesla used inventory for €40,690, have you asked them what planet they live on that a 3 year old MY in 3 years time will be half that price?
Me too - Just got sent the SEAI grant paperwork so assume something is up.
I'm EDD 18th May - 3 June still showing in App - presume it doesn't change until you get a firm date.
The next day usually. Working day that it depending on the time you sent it at.
Not to burst people's bubbles, and I truly hope it means something is happening, but i ordered in February, got the SEAI paperwork in March, and still don't have a car. They send those out in batches, I don't think it means the car is any closer
Probably ease the doubt here, Just got confirmation from Web chat
Any idea how close to getting delivery date once SEAI is signed? #askingforafriend
They haven't translated that to the Tesla website for what that's worth. Still quoting same monthly payment for me.
These emails are normal and related to electronic signing of documents. Original email comes form Tesla with request related to the SEAI grant and then tracking progress is forwarded from echosign . In original email (from Tesla.com)you are requested to add echosign to your address book to ensure you receive status updates.
Everyone can form their own view but i have zero concerns
Certainly eases my doubt, cheers!
Sorry if I scared anyone, just my natural internet-safety-consciousness kicking in
Didn't see that at the bottom of any emails I got from Tesla. Regardless - I confirmed with webchat that this email is legit also
As I mentioned above, it's not related to a delivery date. I ordered in February, got the SEAI e-mail in March, still don't have a car.
They send these e-mails out in batches.
