Best of luck... own it...
Results came in 1 email after around 3 weeks. But the time frame will depend if you were at the start or the end of a batch of interviews.
Hey all / regarding the questions on civil service values - what is is they are looking for you to say or how can the question be framed?
You could have a skim through that it might give you a sense of things. Id be definitely including customer service somewhere in the answer also. If you have done any recent courses that will contribute to the role good opportunity to drop it in there also.
Morning folks.... Anyone any updates on the above? When I rang last it was around the same numbers, seems to be slow at clearing the first few off the batch?
No news, I haven’t been called yet 🤷♀️
Doesn't seem to have been any movement.
Thanks Res, appreciate it
I emailed yesterday, think they're up to around 20 on the open.
Great thanks did they give a number on the interdepartmental?
No, she explained to me last week that the Open number is really the number to go by, Open candidates take longer to get through clearance etc because of notice to employers, wanting to speak to the HR depts etc (which is totally understandable) and that depts will generally pull off open as they owe the most there. Anyway... we'll get there eventually!
I was called today through the interd stream I was number 10 retained in my current department. One less on the open panel 😅 Hopefully others hear soon.
I received a clearance email yesterday evening . I’m no 22 on open panel. Haven’t been offered a Department yet.
Well done Rosie_ob, that's a great achievement
They seem to be moving Very slowly through the AP panel. Must be limited number of positions.
Anyone hazard a guess when they'll call Batch 2 forward or what score that might be from?
They haven't finished interviewing batch 1 yet.
I emailed PAS this morning querying timeline for results and I was advised for my batch it would be the end of May. I'm in Batch 1.2 as far as I can tell, I interviewed on 25th April. I have to say PAS are very obliging and prompt with replying
Ah ok so then end of May all interviews should be completed and results out?.
I can't see anymore interviews until September likely so.
They haven't called everyone from batch 1 yet or if they have they have missed me! As far as I know they interviewed in the summer too last year.
Have you Dublin or the popular counties on your list?
Dublin
I interviewed for batch 1.2 for Offaly two weeks ago. I think those interviews ended on the 5th of May. Hoping to hear soon.
Just to clarify, batch 1.2 as referred to above, is that people who were in batch 1 but at the bottom end closer to the cut off value of 1159?
I'm just below the cut off value so trying to figure out roughly where the process is at at the moment.
No, batch 1.2 were the people who were in the middle of batch 1 after shortlisting from their forms. A new score is given after shortlisting and when your interview is will be determined by this. So, because you were just below the cut off for batch 1, this does not mean you will be in the first group to be interviewed in batch 2. This will be determined by a new score once you pass the shortlisting.
I emailed PAS who said the next interviews will be early June and the exact number of candidates is yet to be determined, so they may or may not complete batch 1 then.
Thanks very much for the reply. So it sounds like PAS may interview and provide results for everyone in batch 1 before commencing shortlisting from batch 2.
I wasn't sure if there may be some overlapping of those short listed at end of batch 1 with those who scored highest in batch 2 (short listing wise).
Hi all, does anyone know if they have started to look at other counties outside of Dublin, Meath and Offaly?
Ah I get you now so no Batch 2 until later again then. Hope you get called in June!
If it's early June the invites for the next round of interviews are likely to issue this week. There's usually 3 weeks ish of notice.
Have they shortlisted for batch 2? If they have, there could be an overlap. Nobody I know has heard about shortlisting for batch 2.
