It will be interesting to see whether it coincides with Draken replacing L-159's with F-16's which is due to happen later in the year, as part of the RAF "Red Air" contract.
Plenty of opportunity for them to sit in on F-16 simulators and in the back of Draken's newly acquired RNLAF F-16 trainers from the US, under the "RAF training" umbrella.

I see an interview with a Ukrainian fighter pilot a month ago and he said in his spare time he tries to learn as much about F16's as possible and even practicing on simulators. So they're probably further ahead then you think especially when it comes to the theory side of it.

We heard the same charge about the patriots and here they are knocking a missile out of the sky which was thought impossible.
Anyway the experts tasked with training them believe it's possible so that negates our opinion on it really.
Training will be most likely on simulators so the fact that the UK has no F16s won't be an impediment. Training would be for pilots who already have frontline fighter jet experience and would only need to focus on differences between, for instance, a MIG-29 and the more sophisticated F16. I think what's important here is the choreography. The UK wouldn't be offering training unless they were certain that the hardware would follow.

None. According to the press release with be an adapted training course to teach them universal training which can then be applied to F16's with further training.
I imagine the training won't just involve pilots, ground crews, maintenance, etc.
Apparently the Ukrainians are extremely fast learners as we have seen with the missile systems they were given.
The radioactivity part is not the issue, it's the chemical toxicity part. We need some metals like iron, selenium, others are non toxic like gold or titanium, while the rest tend to be chemically toxic to varying degrees, like arsenic, lead. Others are toxic from both radioactivity and chemistry like radium, pulonium and yep uranium. However with depleted uranium it's the chemistry that's the major issue.

That's not how NATO works, if the big countries want it to happen, it will, Hungary/Turkey disagreeing (for example) means nothing, it just turns into a negotiation for how it will occur not if it will occur (like will happen with Sweden where there is no time pressure, Finland with the big russia border flew through). Here's the thing I don't think anyone did especially since the Russians kept moving forward and when they got to controlling 90% of bakhmut you had to wonder how much longer it would hold, yes it was a meat grinder for Russia but it's also a meat grinder for Ukrainians too, and despite the recent gains over the weekend,the so called collapse of the Russian lines hasn't happened
I have a question.
If you go to the site, the radiation increases from circa 130 the previous days to circa 140 on 11th May and 12th May... Reduces on 13th May (day of explosion) then spikes at 147 24 hours later on 14th and reduces back down to circa 140.
Why would this be indicative of an explosion containing depleted uranium, when there is no correlation?
