Given the hype over MVR 20, and the continued hype over '21.
I thought it might need it's own thread. (,Mods delete if necessary)

Anyway,.. I'm both a drinker & collector.

Luckily I've managed to bag a few bottles for both myself and my children.

I'll definitely open one soon enough.

But I found it more difficult this year to buy them than any other year.

For those that didn't get a bottle today, the number of bottles being released will be similar to that of 2018/19. There'll be lots to go around.

Check out your local Tesco/dunnes/ SuperValu, from Monday onwards.

There will be more demand, due to the volume of new collectors & speculators, but if u want one, you'll get one.

Someone was asking if heathrow had any MVR 2023.

I picked one up there last week.

I was very disappointed with it. Nice nose. Awful flabby mouth feel very short finish and not at all enjoyable.

I don't drink MVR normally so I'm not sure if it's my typical dislike for blended in general or if it's just a bad release.

Anyone more familiar with MVR tried it?

he also hadn't heard about the cardboard box - wasn't particularly impressed by that either

that's disappointing limnam - the last bottle of midleton i had was a 1997 and have only had occasional glasses over the years....

possibly - attn to detail would not be one of my brothers strong points. he was too probably too busy ranting about the cardboard box to look at the label properly.
