Last year's result was a joke. Nothing against Ukraine, what is happening to them is a war crime. But they won because of solidarity, sympathy, call it what you want.

It's staging in Liverpool, as an alternative venue, Sam Ryder performing during the interval, is an acknowledgement of what we know is true. The UK(and I have a problem with their support of their despicable past, supporting an institution that's worse than any other regime in history) were robbed. It was miles better than any song and in an ordinary year would have won. Ukraine would have finished near the bottom.
