Lol yea maybe a language barrier was the problem, not the first time if so
UK sending storm shadow stealthy cruisemissiles to Ukraine with 250-300 km range
Chinese are paying well below
Nope
2 pages back
Yep but confirmed today
It was confirmed in November, December, January, February in March they wanted companies to purchase or produce them for ukraine,
May announced that ukraine to get Storm shadows ,
Ukraine still doesn't have them despite CNN announcements
Hopefully the storm shadow news is true. For too long now the western world has made pitiful excuses and dithered on the matter of providing the UAF with long range capability and fighter jets. It is morally abhorrent that the black sea fleet can fire into apartment buildings with no fear of retaliation.
The world has asked Ukraine to fight with one arm tied behind its back while its children are soaking up suicide drones and cruise missiles.
Once these things start slamming into juicy targets in Crimea will the west finally learn that Bunker Boys imaginary red lines are just that? Imaginary. That they can and should be crossed as many times as needed for Ukraine and the free world to actually WIN this thing?
Its officialy confirmed on every news channel right now and they have been delivered
Ben wallace confirming that they're being sent. So at the very least they're on their way. I've no idea how Ukraine will implement them. Can a MIG even fire a storm shadow?
According to CNN ......
It's not being confirmed
I am sure they can with some upgrades,if not the czech L159 might as well
I believe they tested them earlier in the year being tested from a mig27 If I remember correctly,
For me the biggest issue this has been breaking news for months now ,I just want to see them actually delivered and being used ,for far too long ukraine has been promised the sun and the moon and it's not happening
It is confirmed by UKs defence secretary Ben Wallace,if its delivered yesterday or will be delivered next week means nothing as long as its there for Ukraines offensive
Its going to be a great contribution and Russian command and ammo might have to consider moving further away from the frontline again, like when Himars arrived.
The Uk's Brimstone and Starstreak were both confirmed to be operational in Ukraine before they were officially announced. The same is hopefully true here. No need to give Russia a heads up too far in advance before stuff 300km away starts exploding.
Brimstone... Storm Shadow... wait, are we the bad guys now???
The UK MoD put out a tender for 100-300km missiles, the tender closed on 4 May (a week ago) and suppliers who submitted an expression of interest will be contacted June 5.
In the space of a few days, news sites went from UK might be supplying cruise missiles, to UK are definitely supplying Storm Shadow, to UK are currently supplying Storm Shadow, to Storm Shadow has already been delivered. They link back to each other as sources even though each article says factually different things to the claimed source. Then they wonder why people have such little confidence in journalism today.
Anyone who thinks they've gone from closing a tender to having missiles in Ukraine and integrated with Soviet jets in a week is extremely naive.
UK Minister of Defence in House of Commons:
"He said the missiles were "going into" or already in Ukrainian hands, and described the move as "calibrated and proportionate to Russia's escalations"."

Zelensky is waiting for the delivery of promised weapons before the new offensive can start.
I'm presuming when then announce these things the Ukrainians lads have been trained and already have them?
I can confirm that the UK is donating Storm shadows , exactly what has been announced for for months now ,
We will be donating missels not we have delivered said missles,
Did you not listen to the video at all
This have been going on for a few months now and UK have had Ukrainians over for training,so guess this would be part of it
And they did test it on a mig earlier i believe
Its actually easier than it sounds
They are playing loose with the English language. 'I am going on holidays in June' - I am is present tense but June is a future date.
I supplied a link already. The tender submissions closed a week ago. There are legal requirements with government tenders, even the MoD cannot secretly award a contract while the tender is still open.
The tender closed a week ago. They have decided on Storm Shadow and announced this intention to the world. It will be weeks or more likely months before any are in Ukraine.
It's a technical problem and every problem has a solution. However to describe it as easy is an oversimplification.
FYI JDAM-ER were initially very unreliable in Ukraine because the arming solution was failing. The arming lanyard was pulling free of it's anchor. It had to be redesigned. In addition Ukrainian pilots were not letting the GPS get a lock while it was on the pylon, a training issue due to unfamiliarity.
Poland now calling Kaliningrad in it's official documents Królewiec. That's the name used when Poland ruled the area in the 15th and 16th centuries. Needless to say the Kremlin isn't too happy.
Russian MoD allowing Wagner to get flanked in Bakhmut? Or more misinformation games?
...
I've no problem with India taking the profits Russia used to make from it's oil and gas. Better then us buying it directly off Russia.
And FFS trump is going to give Putin fantasies and what might happen if Russia sustain this war effort until late 2024. I usually don't care who wins but this could be bad for Ukraine.
You could easily see Trump insisting Ukraine gives up Mariupol, Donetsk, Luhansk and Crimea in early 2025. Let's hope they return some of them before.
Tweet should read "south west" of Ivanivske. North west is firmly in ukraine controlled territory
India is still helping Russia to avoid sanctions and oil price caps - if they enforced the caps Russia would be forced to sell lower and profit much less.
Instead they are taking advantage of Europe more than Russia by selling us refined russian oil products.
He would like likely turn off the taps to supplies and cash, others would follow suit being there isn't a infinite supply of weapons and vehicles in Europe, which would bend Zelensky over a barrel ,
While trump blames fraud and corruption and Zelensky for the war
