Can't see a thread for this so thought I'd start one .

Hi.
Does anyone know approx. when the next HSE Clerical Officer campaign will open for applications?
I notice from the thread here that the current campaign that opened in June 2022 is currently interviewing.
Will there be a 2023 campaign does anyone know?
Thank you.
Hi,
I applied for the supplementary panel which was advertised this year ( Feb 2023), and as far as I'm aware it's live for one year so I would guess 2024 they will go live again... I could be way off tho, sorry I'm not more helpful.
Thanks so much.
Hello 👋
Did you receive your results yet?
Hi, I did and I’m fairly happy with my result. I reckon I shouldn’t be waiting too long. Did you? Hope you were happy with yours!
Did the interview recently but was unsuccessful. Scoring systems in interviews are a lot of bull like the HSE don’t see the bigger picture of hiring people at all. No wonder they are crying out for staff, they can’t do a good hiring process…..
O delighted your happy , yes I got mine Im 10th for Roscommon but not confident it will get me anywhere as I'm sure there is still plenty on the panel to be called but fingers crossed I guess lol.
O no I'm so sorry you were unsuccessful.
Did you get a score sheet back to say what you got or why you were unsuccessful?
That’s a great result. Well done. I’m sure you will get a place from that.
Has anyone received a contract recently? My garda vetting was the last thing I needed before contracting were due to contact me and the disclosure was viewed 2 weeks ago and no word yet.
Hi, anyone who got a recommendation to proceed. How long were you waiting for an email from recruitscreening ? I'm waiting almost a week now. Not in spam either. Thanks.
Hi, has anyone received expressions of interest from the supplementary panel yet?
Hi there, think we’re on a similar timeframe give or take a couple of weeks. Have you heard back since your original post?
Garda vetting disclosure was viewed on 26th May for me so I’m just over the 2 week mark and really hoping I would have heard by now as the trend based on previous people in this thread seems to be about two weeks.
I know by now a lot of people will have handed in their notice but I’m too nervous to just in case anything gets delayed. Would be great to hear how things have faired out for you since your post. Thanks!
I actually heard from contracting the following day! The manager called a few days after and we agreed on a start date and contracts were emailed to me for signing.
Is anyone getting EOIs for any county ? For either supplementary panel or not?
No! I’m on supplementary panel and thought I would have had some in by now.
Just got one there for Dublin 🙈
so did I !
Been getting EOI since I posted last but got none today? Is it normal to go a day without any?
Same with me! I didn’t get any yesterday. What number are you on the panel?
Oh must be normal enough then, just thought it was strange having a good few EOI to then get none,I didn't place great only placed 20th in Roscommon what about you?
20 is great! Fwiw I've placed 108, 22 and 164 on various panels and have gotten to the highest in order of merit to get a job in all 3 of those placings.
Thanks so much 😊
I also didn't realize that my placing wasn't the actual number in OOM for a job, so I got 20th in the supplementary panel and a few EOIs went out I assumed I would be 17/18th but when I emailed I was told there was more panels that take priority over me so my actual overall OOM was in the 40s for a job I had expressed interest in.
Did u apply for for the 2022 panel?
Yeah, I applied for the 2022 panel. I was also in the 2017 panel and got a specified purpose job which I managed to get a permanent post in through the 2022 panel.
I wouldn't worry too much about people ahead, this panel went live in Sept and 100+ jobs went out and in the space of about 5 months I moved up only 8 places to 14th. People ahead of me must have been holding out for specific jobs or locations (much like I was myself!).
Thanks for all that info that's great to know 😁
Congratulations on the permanent post 🎉
When your 2 years was up did they let you go or find you something else?
Thank you! The job from the 2017 panel I didn't actually accept and take up until 2020 — there had been a hiring freeze iirc and I was also on maternity leave for a year. It was an exceptionally long panel lol, definitely not the norm. My specified purpose job just kept rolling on to new contracts and then I just got lucky that a permanent post in my office came up on the panel. If you stay specified purpose long enough though they do have to make it permanent after a certain amount of years.
When did the hiring freeze occur during your recruitment process? I’ve just received my panel placement and between the interview and the results being sent the new recruitment freeze has been announced!
I assume this will delay any EOIs?
O that's interesting I didn't hear anything about a hiring freeze.
What panel did u apply for?
The freeze during one of my previous panels was back in 2019.
Once u accept a post to proceed with what usually comes first an email from occupational health or references or what order does it go in?
Thanks
