most of the tweets of the Klitschko interview parading the "kinzhal" have since been deleted, so heres a still of the little kinzhal that clearly wasnt
Yeah, that tiny thing is not part of a Kinzhal, which has a diameter of 1.2m.
Ukraine has received about 600 types of weapons for a counter-offensive - more than any other army in the world,
- said O'Donnell, a spokesman for the US Army Command in Europe and Africa.
According to him, not all samples of the provided weapons have been used in combat yet.
More details please, that's just teasing. Still haven't heard a thing about those secret navel drones supplied last year.
Some people will argue anything these days grasping at anything to try prove alternative theories,
The joys of the interwebs
Some footage released showing Ukrainian tanks operating in Bakhmut. No wonder prigozhin has been talking about running away.
Ugledar .... report a breakthrough ... alarming
Looks like another Ukrainian raid/recon mission, this time in Vuhledar.
...
Were his comrades trying to take him out as he fled?
Yes, I think he got shot but survived.
Could be the warhead. It would be 45cm diameter and 1.5m high.
CNN has announced that the UK has delivered Storm shadow missles to Ukraine,
I think they rehashed a Story saying the UK was looking for companies produce the missles for ukraine, there's little or nothing in the article to say anyone has supplied them,
Yes, that story was going the rounds too, about stealth bomber parts being kept in the Embassy. Again, was it the truth or not? I don't know. But I can categorically state that the US went and prostrated themselves before the Chinese Government, apologizing and begging forgiveness. Which does not sound like it was a deliberate act, because in that case, there would have been some kind of defense as in " Yes. we did it because we do not want our property going to China because it contains data vital to our national defense" etc.
scavenging for food, drinking corpse-contaminated water, and living and fighting amongst piles of rotting unburied bodies.
So Zelensky has now said Ukraine is not yet ready for its counter offensive.
Disappointing but not that surprising. The realists among us have been warning against over optimism for months now and this seems to confirm it.
Yes id say it was done by mistake,i cant see why they would bomb the chinese over stealth bomber debris.
Doesnt make any sense
Ukraine out trolling the russians again
Dont know if it was a wake up call, but hopefully some got the picture
information warfare
That's what I was thinking - you can't believe a word about ongoing operations from either side. The reality is seen a week or two later.
Trump is a very dangerous fool, hopefully there are level headed US Republicans who will decommission him. Even for his own personal safety. Whatever about spouting his continuous web of lies, it's disgusting to hear him throw crumbs of comfort to Putin. History may be even more severe on him yet.
Wrong co-ordinates were entered, they were trying to hit a military target on the same street. I guess some ones Serbian speaking skills were not up to the mark ( or maybe it was their Chines??? LOL )
I think the supposed ammunition shortage might be another psy op. I hink they have been stockpiling for months. Zelensky recently said there was good news about ammunition, but that he wouldn't reveal details yet.
Or they are simply not ready and they don't have the ammunition required
Exactly. Ukrainians are doing something already, like destroying Russian fuel depots and capturing bridgeheads on the left side of Dnipro. I think there is a lot of preparational work is going on, the actual fast movement phase is going to be one of the final stages of the offensive.
A BBC report today shows that India has managed to take full advantage of western sanctions on Russian oil. For years India imported most of its crude oil from Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Since imposition of sanctions and the price cap(s), it has bought up cheap Russian crude that would otherwise have been destined for Europe. Russia is now the biggest exporter of crude oil to India, setting yet another export record last month. In defense of their not applying sanctions themselves, India points out that Europe continues to import Rusian oil (e.g. via Druzhba).
But the more newsworthy part of this, and not mentioned in the BBC report, is that much of this oil is making its way back to Europe in the form of refined Indian products. Since the ban on Russian oil imports via tanker, Europe has been trying to diversify its sources of crude oil and oil products. India has now emerged as Europe's biggest supplier of oil products. Cheap Russian crude is processed in India and some of the resulting refined products, which are not subject to sanction or price cap, are exported to Europe. India's refineries are in overdrive trying to satisfy European demand. There's a recent analysis of this available from CREA, a Finnish-based research group, for anyone interested:
Just another example of how businesses will find ways to bypass sanctions if there's money to be made, and of how the effects of sanctions diminish over time.
Do you really think Zelensky would tell/share the level of readiness of the UA armed forces in a BBC interview?
What has Donald Trump got to do with the Ukrainian counteroffensive?
You do know this is pretty much the intended consequence - yeah ?
Its not to remove russian oil from the market , its to stop russia profiting from it ..
Russias main response is to cut production to bring about price increases ,mainly from southern oil fields, because shutting down pipelines and facilities in the north would likely freeze up , and crack .
Confirmed by Ben Wallace in the HOC.
I wonder will Biden change his mind now wrt ATACMS.
"According to the RAF, Storm Shadow is a cruise missile developed by British Aerospace and a French company, capable of carrying a 450kg warhead and travelling up to 350 miles (560km) when launched from the air.
Upon hearing of the deal, Moscow warned of an "adequate response from our military."
UK to send Storm Shadow long-range missiles to Ukraine
https://f7td5.app.goo.gl/VWuDxn
He won't have to now ,
The British let him off the hook, they don't need Atacms now they will eventually have storm shadows which were announced months ago
Yes, the price cap and sanctions are putting downward pressure on the price of Russian oil. However, market information already shows that India was paying well above the crude price cap last month (see Reuters below). They're probably paying more this month. This is due to the increased demand from Indian refineries arising from the demand for oil products in the west.
