Great place New York it seems.
The law doesnt seem to apply normally there.
Statute of Limitations expired no problem , we can get around that says Alvin Bragg with his case.
Statute of Limitations expired for E J Carroll , no bother we can change the law for that too.
E J Carroll files her case minutes after the Adult Survivors Act is enacted.
They cant get the man legally so they are changing the law to try and get him, thats sad.
Trump's response...
Cry harder. This is just the start of the accountability you never encountered before...
So how does it feel to support a sexual predator?
I thought the part where the judge reenforced her testimony on the stand by answering a question that was directed at her during cross examination was particularly bad.
You're defending a person guilty of sexual assault.
That's sad.
I have no idea being honest. It's a bit wild that her story ended up being used as a plot in Law and Order but stranger things have happened.
Folks, no matter what your view, if you truly believe he did not assault this woman, then you’re entitled to defend and argue that position. Personally from all I have read on it, I’d be quite sure the jury got this one correct, and that he did assault her. A scumbag!!! And not just for this.
I think the poster is more criticising the process of it all
The bit where you said, and I quote, "trying to dismiss sex offenders".
"LIE-ABLE!"
Fair enough. I have no real issue with folks thinking he may not have done this. Two people know the absolute truth. Her and him. I am very much thinking she is telling the truth here.
I think the poster will and always has tried to grasp at the thinnest of straws to avoid laying any blame on 45.
This time around, it's the process.
I completely agree with this. I too similarly have no idea what the jury fully heard from witnesses, I only saw Trump's deposition video, and it was indeed a strange fact about the case. It holds however the jury of his peers found him liable for sexual assault. It's not "Rape" as the jury reached verdict of, but it is, apparently 'grabbing a woman by the pussy, when you're a star they let you do it, move on her like a bitch, powerful people have been able to do that for millions of years, unfortunately or fortunately.'
I can completely understand that. I wouldn't like to be found liable for sexual battery on the back of the evidence provided in this case. But, I'm not a habitual liar like Trump so there is that.
Where did I say "convicted" ?
He is a sex offender now by trial in a civil court. I am curious why you want to downplay this?
Or at least the process, as told through the lens of some media ecosystems.
+1
Oh the irony
Anyone want to revise their view that they had no problem with this happening?
Jesus I see what people meant now about him getting much tanner.
He looked quite pale when he was in Ireland.
He looks ludicrous with that Ronseal woodstain on his face, why is he so pale he lives in Florida, no shortage of sun.
'well I uh, actually it could really help him win 2024 because uh, so many people are going to mislabel him a sex offender now its going to get our voters to the polls y'all'
You're fully entitled to your view.
How anyone could watch this though and think he didn't do it is beyond me.
Yeah right, I even made fun of that giddup, his hat looked stupid but you know - completely relatable for coastal Ireland in early May. I didn't have anything to say about the lack of woodstain on the mans face at the time, it never even occurred to me I wasn't looking at human skin for once.
If we look at any Law and Oder or crime procedure program and see a plot of a crime been used does that mean any conviction or found liable verdict is a sham. For someone who doesn't give a toss about Trump you are defending him well or does anything no matter what is okay if it is owning the other side
GOP Rep. George Santos has been indicted on federal criminal charges.
No problem with them doing this maybe by shining a light on him and his rambling might convert some republicans to vote some one different in there primaries
To put this into more context I was watching CNN where Alyssa Farah Griffin & Stephanie Grisholm both during different segments spoke about Trump's predatory behaviour while in office.
Grisholm went as far as saying there was a particular staffer who she actively had to move and reassign especially on foreign trips so that she would not be left alone with Trump. Going as far as saying he specifically requested for the staffer to be called into him so he and others could look at her behind. Grisholm alleges she reported this to Mark Meadows and other Chiefs of Staff but she does not know if anything was actually done.
She also alleges this was common knowledge throughout the administration.
If I can find the clips I will post them.
Trump is the best thing that could happen to Bidens 2024 bid.
Holy hell he is now tripling down.
Also if you get a chance view the alina habba interview with dana bash holy hell she is reprehensible.
