Try telling this driver. About 80 km/h using both shoulder and driving lane of a motorway. Continued to drive like this for as long as I could still see them in rear view. Driver didn't seem to be in distress when I passed. I never know if I should call traffic watch when I see this. Would this be considered an emergency?

That car looked to be low on the nearside, could he have swapped out a tyre and be running on a spacesaver limited to 80kph.
SD car for the rear camea as tiny so already written over, I do remember thinking everything looked normal when I passed.
I doubt this was any kind of emergency because the hazards would be on if it was.

Just because the hazards aren't on, doesn't mean that it's not an emergency though. The position of the car is a good indication something isn't right from a good distance back - better to obviously straddle the hard shoulder rather than be less noticeable but driving slowly in the left lane.
Could be limp more, space saver or a flat tyre, which you may not easily notice on low profile rims.

Wireless option seems to be a rear-facing bolt on to the main camera. I'd imagine the quality of anything looking out the back window from that distance would be poor enough, I'd go with the wired setup (we have this on both our cars).
Ahh, missed that bit. Definitely would prefer a camera mounted on windscreen rather than looking into the car itself.
€400 ish on the ball for that package or am I missing any good deals?
Seems reasonable enough to me, it'd be about the same from Halfords once you factor in buying the hardware kit and SD card separately.
Have a look at the Viofo range, good value but would need to purchase the hardwire kit separately. I have an A129 duo for a number of years and it's been very reliable, there's newer A139 duo and three cannel cameras out since as well as 4k pro versions. A139 duo about £220 currently on Amazon
